A little trouble for UK football

Sounds like our basketball players back in the Joe Hall years.
Richie was on KSR this past year talking about his summer internship where he and Feldhaus just played golf all summer. It was funny as hell listening to him talk about it.

Back when I was in school a lot of the basketball players had jobs on horse farms. They got paid but they rarely showed up.
No need to show up, they were hired as jockeys but they found out they were too tall.

“Was in some trouble” seems to be the case now. It’s been handled, the guys have been punished and we are ready to go. Believe it or not, it might have benefited us with CRod having fresh legs going into Ole Miss and the second half of the season.
I just hope it is over, mitch might decide suspending our All Conference RB wasn't enough.

Lolololol. Who gives a shit? Like, really?

What a joke. If these dudes were government employees they could lie on their timecards all they want and they couldn't be punished.

Other players get $500k and new car rentals every month. The problem is UK actually tried to make their student athletes WORK. They don't want to work. Just pay them money for an IG post and call it a day.
Reminds me of when I first graduated from UK and went to work on the space program in Huntsville as an EE. Our boss was VERY lenient. set us up to supervise a couple of draftsmen in Cape Canaveral so seven of went down for a week. The GE plant was on one corner with a Holiday Inn on another, but we stayed in a fancy hotel about 5 miles away overlooking the beach. But it was hard getting up in the morning, went to work about 10;30, left at 11 and never went back. Spring break in Daytona Beach, lots of fun, .

Had to go home for a week for a family reunion, great time, played with my brothers in an alumni game, we won 25 to 6 and I scored 3 TDs, but one brother got a broken leg. Biggest best athlete in the family, had to drive back to Texas with a wife that-----can't say more.

Wonderful week but when I got back on Monday the crew was all in New York City when the world's fair was going on (1966). So I called my boss about going up, said sure tell the secretary. But his boss called him and said he was coming up and he had to tell him they were finishing up, couldn't afford for him to see the boondoggle. But they still stayed the rest of the week. Always wanted to see New York City, lol. Geesh, I miss the good old days, but the government got a lot stricter about that time, it was a long time ago. In the good old days. And yeah, I did feel a little guilty, but I got over it.

See my long story just above.

This is just old news and the reason Wright and Rod got hit with suspensions. No biggie, let’s move on and win games!!! Wwwooooo

Putting they worked 12-14 a day five or six days a week on their time cards was asking for trouble. That’s pretty egregious.

Put down 40 hours while only doing half that like the rest of us ;)

I know a former basketball player that used to get $1000 a month to make sure the sprinklers came on at a certain time on the football field .

My problem with all this is that the LHL breaks this crap post UK/NCAA investigation that was fine with Wright getting a 1 gm suspension and CRod getting a 4 game suspension. Apparently this investigation has been going on since Feb., UK and the NCAA have been involved. UK issued the suspensions, the NCAA was satisfied with the punishment and now the F’in LHL is trying to raise the dead and stir up more ish.
WTF man?
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! This reeks of Jerry “Tipsy” Tipton!

They're just pissed they didn't get any scoop for 7 months. The need dirty laundry
