6-4 PG Hagans (2019) Says a UK Offer Would be Hard to Turn Down

The reason I think Cal will eventually offer this guy is he is already an incredible defender. Physically, he's also the prototypical big Cal point.

Plus, Cole Anthony is going to get all the buzz as the best PG in 2019, but he is 6'0-6'1" and I suspect he'll either stay out West or go to Duke. I like Hagans better though as a long-term prospect.

How would this impact Kentucky landing the coveted combo Scottie Lewis/Bryan Antoine.............or wouldn't it

He is visibly grabbing at it at every dead ball. I'd say the back is an issue.

I think the Lewis/Antoine combo is iffy at best. There are many who think Lewis is a lock for St. John's because of loyalty. Antoine meanwhile seems to be enamored of Duke. He also claims Cole Anthony, not Lewis, is his "best friend".

An issue for Duke however may be that the guys they are targeting this year - Jones and Garland - are very good players, but don't necessarily project as OAD.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. 2019 is a very slim and weak guard class. Even more reason lock in on Hagans early.

I'm at the point that I don't concern myself even a little bit with recruiting.

I was disappointed when Bamba didn't come, but that may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Wrong.

It's another great example of how stupid some people are.

Not talking about you.

Just because those two "beaten to death" things aren't nauseating to you doesn't mean I'm "wrong" and you are "right". lol, wtf.

Someone on here said the Lewis/Antoine ship had sailed for us.

Cal may be looking at Hagans and Kobe Brown (6'6 Wing) instead. Both are 4-stars, I think, but are rising.

Cal has a knack of targeting guys like that and they turn out to be studs. Bledsoe, Lamb, WCS, Booker, and Ulis,

Link to game this past Spring where Hagans, Christian Brown (UK interested), Josh Nickleberry (UK Interested) took on Immanuel Quickley and his team.

Like to see kids openly vying for UK offers.
Getting a UK offer is almost like a big sale at Penny's:

How is his walk? [winking] Sorry I missed the earlier post asking about his walk.

His walk needs work. But it's something that can be rectified. He knows all of UK history back to the Stone Age and he is a prime
Time SHOOTER- think steph curry meets Jules Camara.

He also said he wished he was born a "Kentucky kid" Bc we , as a team, ABSOLUTELY need more Kentucky boys. Born and raised

;)

Ya know I gotta give props to JC penny for still sticking around after all these years. I don't know ANYONE who shops there yet they're still live and well in the mall st Matthews- have been since I was a kid
Didn't one (actually 2) of the UK players sport a JCPenny look at the draft? I think it was reported that (t)he(y) was dressed in JCPenny suit. JCP, a working man's store.
