I apologize as I did not read everything in the thread and this might have been covered.
I recently bought a Samsung 55" ...6700 something around 1K and the damned matching curved sound bar ($650)
Too much to list here. But think long and hard before going this route ( I might have got a lemon)
But, the ARC connections are a pain in the ass and are known to cause problems. Don't just read the "fluff" reviews find some forums and read on it. I finally got the salesman/rep to admit a lot of people have problems with it. At first made it sound like Operator Error. But it is more than that. Both manuals had setting mistakes in them.
Just think long and hard. I believe Samsung should have never brought these products to market.
Oh the sound bar. looks great, sounds good for about $150 not $650. My old $250 Boston Acoustic sound bar kicked is a$$ all over the place with just RCA cables.
Broke down and got the Vizo recommended on CNET, not 4K but have the price and works like a champ. This will end up being my workshop tv eventually anyway.
Yamaha SRT 1500 sound plate that I wanted in the first place but impulsed the other. I really like it. Not quite the Sonos I really wanted for the house. But I do like this.
