2023 starting quarterback

No he hasn't used it. Tarleton is a FCS school (old 1-AA) like Eastern and D1 FBS transfers have never had to sit out when transferring to FCS.
So, you are saying he can transfer and it is as though he never transferred out?

That’s like putting instant coffee in a microwave oven, a violation of the space/time continuum!

Players have never had to sit a year if they go to a lower division. Many speculated that is why Beau went to Tarleton State was so he could transfer back to FCS school and not sit out.

No offense to him but if that’s the next guy it’s because we’ve whiffed on many. He’s 55% a division down.

A year of starting there would give him more confidence and starting experience but not sure if he is good enough to come back or not,I looked at his stats didn't seem to be that great to me he could stay another year and then come back. I saw some Douglasses on the roster maybe we place players there to come back later.

Wade is a vary good athlete I for one would have liked to have seen
him play some this year. he could have made some plays with his legs
against uscjr

Not sure but heard other posters ask
I could be mistaken, but I think a player isn't restricted if they are a Graduate Transfer. It might be possible to use the one-time transfer and not sit out a year .... graduate .... then transfer as a graduate student and play immediately.

I have no idea who the 2023 QB1 will be, but if Stoops is going to keep getting guys from the portal, then at least one or more of the QBs currently on the roster will likely transfer out, plus it will make recruiting a QB out of HS that much harder.
