2017 NBA draft thread

Love Bam! This UK group will be great ambassadors for UK. Knowing the U19 squad is watching, good night for Cal. Bam's dad comment does not hurt.

Lyles, Booker and Ullis in Denver..Cauley-Stein, Skal and Fox in Sacramento,..Kidd-Gilchrist and Monk in Charlotte. Amazing..

Glad for the UK kids. Their whole lives are about to change. UK with 3 kids picked in the top 14. Multiple NBA teams now with multiple UK kids.

I love Cal, but you have to do better with three lottery picks on your team.

I thought the worst comment of the night so far was Kennard saying he wanted to stay at Duke another year but decided it was a great opportunity to go.....Duh!!

5 losses and a loss in the E8 to the eventual champion after getting raped by an official is nothing to be ashamed of.
I wish they had made the FF, but our team was playing 5 on 8 throughout the SEC season and definitely in that UNC game.

The loss in 2015 is on Cal, the loss in 2010 is on Cal, the loss in 2017 is on the officials.

I'd pay to see lavar ball hoot and holler before I'd pay to see a Lakers game...I hope he gets his own presser after every game.

Say all you want about the guy, he probably deserves most of it but he is entertaining whether it be good, bad, or ugly.

He is a machine. Forget "BBB" on shirts and shoes, he needs to start printing up all his damn slogans and one liners from interviews.

"Thanks be to Zeus" and "I told you so" merchandise would fly off the shelves....

He's not entertaining in any way , shape or form.

Some people can't help but be negative can they.

Tks. So, if they go to 2 yrs, has it been said whether players will be able to go to the G league out of HS? If they can, and salaries go up enough, Most of the players that we usually get will probably go there. Not liking that.
Gonna tell you why it won't happen first of all to a 18 years old poor kid the current dleague salary is good money to play basketball. Plus lottery style players the first really good pay day isn't ur contract it's it first endorsement deal meaning you need to be seen u need to have a name nationally. You cant get that in the dleague u can get a name in college. Now finally big money has always been there straight out of hs if you go to Europe. Plus how do you even do it you can't just have a top hs player say I'm going to the Lakers farm team. And then the Lakers basically have the rights to him. Would have to have alot more rules put into place. So if this goes to 2 years then I see no problem.

The teams will draft them out of high school like the MLB does. It's all going to depend on the money and how soon they let them negotiate their second contract.
