Wwee a lock for a 4 seed no matter what. A very outside shot at a 2 seed if make SEC finals ...
The NCAA has historically ignored the entire SECT, but this year with the expansion and the overall known strength of the conference, I think they will at least consider the games through the semi-finals.
I don't think they will care about the finals outcome unless it ends up being a team that was not getting in that somehow makes a 5-game run (not likely in this conference this year).

I'd like to make it to Saturday at a minimum, but I still don't think that gets us into 2-seed talk, unfortunately.

I think we are a lock for a 4. Win Thursday maybe a 3 but I think 4. Zero shot at a 2 imo even if we won the SECT. Too many teams ahead of us.

Feels like we are the last 3. Just my opinion. I think we need to win two to guarantee a 3, no matter what other teams do. If we lose Thursday, I'd bet we're a 4.

It has been proven every year that whatever happens in the SEC finals (Sunday afternoon) has absolutely no impact on final seeding. That's why SEC coaches have clamored for the final game be played on Saturday.

Some bracketologist have us as a 2 seed. On3 I think was one of them. I see us as a 3 if we make it to Saturday and the right other teams lose early, I could see a 2 seed. Will be fun to see what happens this week. Just keep all guys healthy and hitting their best stride. GO BIG BLUE!!!

If we are the last #3, that means there are only four teams separating us from a #2 seed. Given that results of the SECT final don't matter, it's likely impossible to reach the 2 seed line. However, beating #4 Florida and then #3 Auburn should at least be fodder for debate.

SEC down to 7 teams in the Top 25; Big Ten caught up with 7 also. Where the SEC is strong top to bottom, the Big Ten is top-heavy so the records of their top 1/3 look better to the AP voters, who are too lazy to do much diligence, mostly look at W-L records.
Looking at the BIG10, I see only one team that is capable of winning a title, Michigan State. The rest are mid.
The SEC has 4 or 5 and top to bottom the SEC is stronger, but, you watch, so many of these sure fire SEC teams will blow a gasket early and the narrative by everyone outside the SEC will be that we were all frauds. They're all waiting for SEC teams to fail.

Final AP poll is next Monday UNLESS they do like they did last season and do a "Final" poll after the tournament (which they have only done in 1974 and 2024)

LoL, Wisconsin just lost at home to Penn State, they have no business being ahead of UK.

I knoe we have 10 losses, but I hope they look at who those losses were to and also look at our wins. Only Auburn has as many bigtime wins.
