While I don't think we have a chance because of our weaknesses, Bama hadn't really played anybody until UT. Georgia has the best D. Probably the best in CFB
And absent the beat down of Miss State, has looked very mortal.

But that was without Bryce Young. You can't argue Will Levis being out caused UK to lose to SC without acknowledging Young's absence affecting Bama's offense, especially considering the #2 QB was responsible for 3 of Bama's 4 TOs.
Hey, I’ll give you the Bama win as significant, and the best win either UT or UK has going into this Saturday.
But having watched a good bit of Bama’s season, this is just not a dominant team. (And Georgia has taken a step back, too).
Yeah, I don't think that is a dominant Bama team. UT won the LOS for the most part the entire game. But UT this season is much better than last with their quality depth on both lines, and has stayed relatively healthy on both lines, and has some quality depth.
I think UGA is loaded with talent. They are just young and inexperienced in some positions and learning. And after blowing out Oregon, they may have been sleepwalking in a couple of games and were not focused. They will be very hard to beat without bringing an A game and hoping they don't bring an A game.
The bye week is why we will lose. I’m sorry to tell ya, but stoops has a pretty bad losing record outta bye weeks.

Let me ask you this. Every year Kentucky plays 4 Patsys, while most of the upper echelon of the conference always has a big intersectional game. Kentucky never does… and another thing I win is a win is a win. One point or 15. Alabama won. Just like they beat Auburn last year. They won. To denigrate Alabama—— based on the first game of the year, in Austin. Lack of football knowledge on this board is incredible

Stoops is 5-7 at UK after a bye week. However, since 2016 Stoops is 4-3 after a bye.

Our defense has gone up against a hurry O on the road v a top 15 team already this yr and we had Ole Miss beat.
Plus, the bye gave UK coaches and players alike plenty of time to watch the mistakes that Bama’s D made against you.
Kentucky has not one but two great defensive minded coaches.

I am a university, Kentucky, grad, and proud of it. My brother is also, and a very prominent academician in the medical school( although I don’t think he knows what colors Kentucky wears…egghead smart)
. Tired of Kentucky being mediocre. extremely tired of playing Northern, Illinois, Youngstown, and Akron with no intersectional game ever. We always start out hot after playing all these, Patsy’s, beat Mississippi State, and think we’re going to win the national championship. I’m being so sarcastic right now for those who can’t follow . Don’t be defensive think about it, Big boosters should demand that Barnhart schedule a PAC, 10 opponent, a Big Ten opponent….. really don’t want to hear that playing in Akron really enhances recruiting in Ohio.
Even Florida who plays Florida State every year, played Utah this year, and they have been infamous through the years for not playing intersectional games. Alabama always does. LSU always does, Auburn, Texas A&M, etc.. Tennessee has done it since I was a kid. … many games with UCLA, Notre Dame, etc
If our basketball schedule can schedule good tough opponents that are always in the top 15 then we should in football. We look weak and scared with that schedule.

If you want an example, ask another opponent fan, how many threads they are on their chant boards since Monday morning. Try it that will give you an example of the lack of enthusiasm of our fans. Look how many basketball friends have been started since Monday morning and compare it to this board.
I care a lot. I am not a UT fan, but I do not hate them. I have a lot of respect for their tradition and history. Brother-in-law sent me a meme that some idiot UT fan posted regarding the coal Miner that Cal has befriended. .. the meme was not flattering.. he was deluged by UT fans castigating him for that.
Here’s my point. Quit calling UT fans names, like Hicks and rubes and rednecks.

I think this will be the trend going forward. With the transfer portal and NIL, you will see the wealth spread as far as players go. There are a ton of decent football teams this year and I think as the years pass, there will be even more great football teams. The times of one team or conference dominating CFB are over. And with the playoff expanded to 12, who even cares what conference you are in at that point ? Can we move to Conference USA so we can have a better chance at the playoffs?? I kid, I kid, but CFB is changing and is about to change even more .
