Tennessee fans here are the most arrogant people. I know Herros is just baiting them, but, Mark Stoops is probably wondering whether to even play this weekend.
Do hordes of UK fans go on other boards and run their mouths? Do all fanbases do this or just UT? Serious question. I don't get on here much, so I may have missed this from other fanbases. But I've seen UT fans do this over the years for football and basketball. It just never crosses my mind to get on another team's board and start bumping my gums.

Rest assured, Tennessee is taking you guys very seriously. If you had had the UT-Martin game slot, then maybe, just maybe the hangover talk would be relevant. I really don't even think so. And regardless of whether this team is better or worse than last year's team or team's before (and I think it isn't as good as your team last year), we are much better than last year and we did what we wanted all game long.

No. UT did not 'luck out' against Bama. They outplayed Bama, winning the LOS on both sides of the ball. And the UF game only looked close because of that perfect onside kick with 0:17 left, which admittedly scared rhe heck out of me. .
I would never suggest UK cannot win this game, but Mark Stoops is 4-15 against the Top 25, and 1-4 against Top 10 teams, which certainly shows he can win against good competition, but does not show he "excels" at it

I was responding to the notion that it was a once in a lifetime win over Bama, and the implication that a Kentucky win against Tennessee was somehow less rare. I have no read on this team as I expected to lose each of the Bama, LSU, Pitt, and Florida games. Maybe you guys pull the rabbit, maybe not. We're playing with house money at this point as far as I'm concerned. But I think we both know what it "should be" looking at the series history. Best of luck.

This game will get ugly and not in UKs favor, ut is better at all except maybe position and its a toss up(CROD) They have a better Oline, Better Dline and much higher performing offense. The cats get no pressure, force few turnovers and that's a recipe for an ugly beat down against that offense.
Bama had a higher ranked d before they played us than y’all and bama had a much tougher schedule to that point. We have scored on everyone. You think your defense is really better than bama? Outside the state of Kentucky I doubt very many agree if you think that. The question is more of can Tennessee stop Kentucky on offense because our d has not been good stopping passing. We do bring pressure and can get that and we have been good against the run (I know I know c rod but we kept Gibbs from bama in check mostly and he’s gonna be a high draft pick). I think Kentuckys best chance is Levi’s throwing against our secondary. Can your line keep us off of him because it’s not been great this year. Quick question. Have you looked at Tennessee red zone stats? You might should. No one has had much luck at all stopping us there. Looking forward to see how this game pans out. One thing is for sure. I've been reading the board for about a week but only posted once or twice, no trash talk here, but I do not believe that Heupel has been saying that. It's just not his M.O. One of the reasons the Vols are playing above expectations is because CJH approaches each game the same: no extra hype for some games over others, no such thing as gimmes, and his players are buying into that philosophy as well.

I always look for your posts. Your optimism is what keeps bringing me back to the board after what would be considered being embarrassed. As great and as big of a statement that would be, I still have to stay guarded on it to not risk disappointment. The players are much better candidates at proving and believing.
What gets me Hack is all the UK “fans” that try and make excuses for them being #130 in pass d. Like pace of games, teams trying to play catch up etc. That is total unadulterated bs and a defeatist mentality that is not needed on the already fragile football board. I am still not sure why you seem so fixated on UT's pass defense. It has been weak all season yet UT is still undefeated. And it is not like it plays into UK's strength, which is the ground game.
Or maybe .... Just maybe we get a good close shootout just like last year.
