Just goes to show that you can have all the talent and depth in the world and still struggle without the right coach.

Other than Milroe scrambles/keepers they have virtually no running game.
These referees are already thinking about getting out of Tuscaloosa alive. I predict there's a missed penalty or some type of horrendous call at a crucial point that benefits Alabama.
Bad spots and subjective calls like PI and holding will make sure the Bamas and OSU types keep winning even during rebuild years.

Edited to add, look at the situation now. If SC makes a FG here, they're only up by 2, meaning all Bama needs is a FG to win, rather than just draw.
Yep. A timely holding call ends a good South Carolina drive. Saw that coming a mile away.
That was an impressive catch by that SC receiver, only to completely overthrow in the 2pt conversion
Big man needed to bat that ball to the ground. I don't think their QB would've completed another pass to get them into FG range anyway.

Great ending but South Carolina couldn't quite do it. What a crazy onside kick. Was hoping for a field goal try to decide it. Wasn't pulling for SC but I also didn't mind Bama losing. Ready for some newer blood in the playoffs.

All of that could have been avoided if the Alabama receiver went down inside the 5 after catching what ended up being a TD inside 2 minutes. Comparing to Saban is going to make just about anyone look worse, but this Alabama team doesn’t appear as well coached as we’re used to seeing.
Did he catch it out of the endzone before going into it? If he did and took a knee it's a tied game. He probably wasn't sure.
He probably should have just went down as soon as he got out of there. He wanted to either burn all the clock or try and get the return for a TD. Would have been funny if he did a Marty Moore and USC got the ball with like a second to go.
Not that I can really fault the kid but if the guy that scored the last touchdown for Alabama had run out of bounds, they are taking a knee and none of that has a chance to happen.
Had they made two, AL wouldn't have gone for two & it would be tied at 21. So an FG wins for SC either way. You can go & on about AL would have done next.
That was the worst punt in the history of punting. I haven't seen someone untrusted drill his lineman in the back of the head.

This is the type of game Franklin always loses there.
Lewisville loses this and beginning to wonder if they make a bowl. Gonna lose to UK, Miami and Clemson so that would be 6 losses. Pitt as well and at bc.
