Saw something interesting yesterday. Tn (the #1 team in country) was only a -1.5 point favorite against an unranked team on the road. (They won by 2 on a last second shot.)

This is not Vegas disrespecting UT, but math nerds understanding the difficulty of winning on the road this year.

The SEC road schedule will be a tough gauntlet to run through. I predict the conference winner will have 4 losses and 3-4 teams will be hovering around 3-4 losses going into last week of the conference. The SEC tournament in Nville will be great, with multiple schools thinking they have a chance to grab a 1 or 2 seed in the NCAA tournament.

I think the conference winner might have 6 losses. I’ve never seen anything like the SEC this year. Saw a stat that this was the best win percentage for a conference versus other conferences in over 25 years.

I think it could be higher than 4. The last place team theoretically is still top 70 Kenpom. That is basically every team is tournament caliber.

Winning on the road is going to be next to impossible if both teams bring their best game. The whole season is just going to be a murder scene.
