Of course, Cal will roll with Edwards and Wagner and we will be down 10-2 by the time he subs in Rob and Reed.

The defense was a lot better tonight
1) Hope Mitchell is ok
2) Start Rob and Reed. Period. They play the majority of the mins.
We are just a better team with those guys in there.

Good win, the Auburn game is going to be really hard
Yes, it was. Much better protecting the basket. A little better preventing the 3, guys seem more aware of open areas on the court. They're getting over quicker to cover. I'm hoping that with Ugo coming on that we're not overhelping as much.
No coach in their right mind would slow this team down. The score is irrelevant, he would do it up 4 with 5 minutes left.
Ole Miss did miss some open looks but the intensity of defense was so much better this game.
Anything goes game for me. Win LSU and miss state and win the two home games again vandy and Arkansas. Then bama is another anything goes game same with Tennessee
It was stall ball in the sense that Cal was trying to get certain guys buckets (like Thiero and Btradshaw) and trying to orchestrate everything from the sideline instead of just letting the guys play.
If we win Saturday I’ll be extremely surprised, that place is tough to win at
Why with all our weapons would you actually try to get Bradshaw a bucket? That makes no sense.
That game will tell me a lot about this team, do they wanna win and fight to be good? Will they roll over again and keep the losses piling up?
I didn't suggest that he did, and like you I don't think he does want to. Ugo is going to need breathers so I'm hoping Cal is flexible enough to allow Z and Bradshaw in there for a spell. Ugo is the best all-around big we have, followed by Z with his understanding of the game (but he's slow and got going too late in the season). Bradshaw has shown some athleticism on both ends of the court. Ugo is the easy decision.

Bradshaw is just too weak to play at this point. Nothing will improve that right now.
12 offensive rebounds is no bueno, that alone will get you beat by a good team.

I agree but I have a futures bet on us so I won't let it go until its mathematically impossible. I know asking for a win at Auburn is going to be a tall task, if not impossible because of how Auburn holds serve, but it's as close to a must-win as we've had all year. IF we win that and can battle and win at LSU then we have to slay Bama.
But IF we can get through that 3-game stretch 3-0 (big if), then that March 9 game with Tennessee might end up for the SEC regular season title.
2019 and 2020 are better teams than this one, and they had to scrap and claw in that game. Auburn is a just see what happens game

It means that before the season I put some money on us to win the SEC regular season title. It wasn't a big bet, like $5 but if it hits I'll make $30 off it.

We won't be favored @Auburn, could be 10-point underdogs. But have to stack wins here somehow to get a top 4 seed.
We really need to go 4-0 to get back on track, I’d be estatic with 3-1 though. I expect 2-2 as well.
Bad Ole Miss team? 18-6 61st Kenpom and 59 in Net. That's a fringe tournament team. 10-12 seed. Not a great quality win, but don't act like Ole Miss is Vanderbilt. We all know you wanted Kentucky to lose so when we win you downplay it and disappear.
