We have been lucky but there is something to be said about not letting them get rhythm and confidence shooting wide open shots early in the game.

This is the second game where we've had a numbers advantage when a player was out on the opposite end of the floor and the refs stopped play when they're supposed to let the action continue until the player becomes an obstacle. WTH

We've seen this over and over and over. More than I can ever remember.

It is, sure. But it's a heck of a lot harder when THAT'S your schedule for November and December. I said this earlier in this thread and said it this week also. That was the one thing going for us in a game we all thought we'd lose: Auburn has played next to no one outside a few SEC teams and Baylor.
