What really sucks is, THEY DO. That's how poorly we've played though. We've had great crowds. We've had a ton of fan support. We just can't coach our way OUT of our own way.
Those 2 plays by Key killed us, but then we fell apart instead of getting our sht together and finishing.

What's even sadder about this is that Vandy used Stoops PREFERRED strategy to ACTUALLY beat him!!!!
So this first year HC beat Stoops, who is a top 10 paid HC, at his OWN game!!!
We have now lost 2 out of 3 to Vandy and 3 in a row to South Carolina!!! We are 1-3 in the SEC and now go to UF where their coach is playing for his life!!!

In Hamdan’s defense he has no QB…. But, i think this o line would be better suited to a run oriented game. Play Wimsatt and end the BVG experience. I know you paid a high price for him. But don’t double down on the mistake. It’s a crime that this defense was good enough to win 9 games with a semi competent offense.
Posts like this are why I don't care if UK basketball ever wins another title. Basketball first fans are just fkng trash. Acting like they give a sht about football and like they know anything about football, and piling on after every loss. Miserable SOBs don't deserve another basketball title. They can GFT
This shit pisses me off. Stoops has been here since 2013 and Kentucky is still taking embarrassing losses like this. Kentucky has reached its peak under Stoops. If you are here making excuses for what we just saw, you are just as much of the problem accepting mediocrity and only do so to be a contrarian.
So you think we should be miserable in both sports? Nothing wrong with being happy that we have something else to fall back on. Doesn't mean we don't want success in football as well. It's just being thankful to have something that gives you hope. Maybe we will have that in football again.
UK fans never cease to amaze at how well the continue to come out and support despited being kicked in the gut over and over again. Most you folks dont understand this and thinks BBN just started getting behind football with Stoops rise but they've been showing up since the 70's with 40K to 50K showing up at home with 2 and 3 win years and traveling with 8K to 10K to away games.
But with the level of excitement ratcheted up in recent years in hopes or teased into thinking we actually have a chance to joing the big time, its hard for a fanbase to get itself all worked to be let down so many times and still keep getting back up like BBN has. But there has to be more reward for its efforts soon or I'm afraid even thats going to slow down. You just cant go 2 and 10 at home with our talent level and fan support!
Been on message boards for almost 30 years. Heard this same shit every year from basketball fans, even in years we did some great things. They jumped ship in years where we had 10 wins and years we beat ranked teams. Doesn't matter how the team plays. 1st loss, 2nd loss, whichever... doesn't matter... it always culls the herd down to the real football fans.

If you feel the need to post a basketball post on the football board right after a loss, you just might be one of those people.
Stoops was at a basketball event. Pitino was at a football game. Football players go to basketball games. Basketball players go to football games. They all support each other. So why should people have to segregate their opinions on certain messages boards? I have said "well at least football season is starting up soon" on the basketball board after another flameout of a basketball season. I don't say I hope one program has no success because of something someone says. That's just crazy.
