Up 20 go to soft zone on defense

Why do this when your defensive gameplan has been working most of the game? That combined with 3 straight runs up the middle including the wildcat which hasn't worked well in short yardage situations all year.

I would say that the problem isn't going soft zone up 20, it's not stopping the soft zone when you're about to go down 1.

I understand soft zones with a 20 point and 6 minutes to go but not in 3rd quarter. This is Florida last year all over again. What will it take for Stoops to learn?
