So NCAA quits investigating NIL

So Tennessee fights the ncaa because they don’t want to follow their rules. Could the SEC say follow the rules or we will vote you out of the SEC??? Could that happen?? Tennessee would quit at the thought of being removed from the SEC by the league. Big Ten commissioner punished Michigan. Not the NCAA

The SEC is backing TN on this one. Commish got their back.

Why doesn’t that surprise me
The SEC and Big 10 have taken control of football away from NCAA.

They are going to also take control of all the TV money that goes along with the football contracts.

This is the case where they know they can win over the NCAA. NIL money is not going to be controlled by elitist in the NCAA. The courts will never allow that again.

Not sure this fits here, but the big OT that transferred from Bama to Iowa, and took 100k, is now transferring back to Bama and rumor out that Caleb downs who transferred to OSU is about to do the same. Both spent spring break with their old teammates. Competitive sports can continue like this. NIL is here and the transfer portal is here to stay. I don't see anyway to keep things sane other than to declare players employees, make scholarships legal contracts for 4 years with buyouts if a player wants to transfer, just like the coaches that has been used to make it ok for them to transfer with no penalty.
