Just listened to Colin Cowherd 's podcast last week and he quoted a Wall Street Journal report that said PRIOR to the 2014 World Cup, the 2nd most popular sport popularity wise for men ages 12-28 in the US was......soccer. Soccer beat out college basketball, college football, MLB and the NBA and was 2nd to only the NFL. Kinda crazy and I am glad it's continuing to grow. Hell even Magic Johnson is getting in on the action and David Beckham just sent a proposal to Miami saying he will invest in upgrading that dump of a stadium if they let him use it for a Miami MLS team.
