From all the “admissions” tweets it sounds like Michigan decommitted from the UNC educated dummy!
That’s got to be embarrassing for the guy, but no sure how that isn’t all sorted out beforehand.
Why isn't this surprising?
Michigan is a really good school. A top 25 school in the nation academically. Is Michigan that hard of a school to get into
Yes. They call it an Ivy League lite school in some study areas. Is Michigan that hard to get into

I applied in my senior year of high schoolYes. They call it an Ivy League lite school in some study areas.
i guess I know why I never heard back now lol
Yes, I know someone that had a 34 ACT and a 6.8GPA due to taking 24 AP/Honors courses and they weren’t accepted at Michigan. They also lettered in sports and were in and/or led five clubs, so yeah…Is Michigan that hard of a school to get into
I had good grades and played two sports and was invovled and I never even heard back LOl. How do you get a 6.8 GPA, did they take all AP classesYes, I know someone that had a 34 ACT and a 6.8GPA due to taking 24 AP/Honors courses and they weren’t accepted at Michigan. That’s just a 3.4 both semesters.I had good grades and played two sports and was invovled and I never even heard back LOl. How do you get a 6.8 GPA, did they take all AP classes
It was actually my son, he only took one regular class in six years, weightlifting, haha.I had good grades and played two sports and was invovled and I never even heard back LOl. How do you get a 6.8 GPA, did they take all AP classes
They’re selected non-competitively from an academic perspective. It’s ridiculous that y’all think Michigan or Duke would have the same standards for athletes. Come on now. Charles Matthews got in coming from Kentucky.
Damn, I’m guessing he got into a really good school with those accomplishments he definitely should haveIt was actually my son, he only took one regular class in six years, weightlifting, haha.
University of Florida, it’s a great school academically, though more importantly, affordability. He’ll have zero debt upon graduation, a rarity in today’s world.Damn, I’m guessing he got into a really good school with those accomplishments he definitely should have
That being said...UNC is a really good school too I thought?
Damn UNC really lets them do nothing lol.
UNC ran a diploma mill for athletes and "other students" who could not do college level work. No show classes, free A's for little work, etc. Heck, they had a player take Swahili and pass but could not say a single word of the language. UNC was all smoke and mirrors.
BTW, their athletes had some of the lowest SAT scores in the ACC but they still have one of the highest graduation rates. All a big joke!
Yes it is. My son was top 10 in his class of 600+, with only 2 B’s (rest A’s) taking lots of AP and Honors classes, and was waitlisted to their Engineering school. He’s done very good at NC St engineering school. Is Michigan that hard of a school to get into
Still not possible. AP is the highest, and it’s only worth 1 extra point. So if took ALL AP classes the max is 5.0It was actually my son, he only took one regular class in six years, weightlifting, haha.
Depends on the school, while correct that 5.0 is commonly the highest, some schools design it above a 5.0 scale for some reason.Still not possible. AP is the highest, and it’s only worth 1 extra point. So if took ALL AP classes the max is 5.0
A 3.4 both semesters would earn you an overall GPA of….3.4. Not sure if you were joking or not. That’s just a 3.4 both semesters.
