I blamed Cal from day 1. Who puts a senior in high school as the starting PG at the University of Kentucky? Can't wait for him to be good somewhere and everyone hating on him will be here blaming Cal

They brought Quade in because Trae and his Pops said he wanted to take all the shots.Tell that to Quade Green was only brought it to get Mo Bamba. Same way for DJ Jeffries, who was only brought in to help get Wiseman.
I’m saying, we need another shooter for Carr to dish to.You can have all the shooters in the world, but if you don't have a guy who can create for himself and others it's not going to matter. Kentucky still needs that.
More likely Carr.Watch it be Hardy, Cal delivers the bag, and tells Askew "Sorry bud, you're gonna have to wait a year".
GoodSo, is losing nearly everyone off a 9-16 team a good thing or bad thing?
Again ... is this happening in a different thread? Because it sure isn't happening here. You were one of those complaining about Askew.
I’m saying, we need another shooter for Carr to dish to.
Hagan's was a senior point guard and worked out ok.I blamed Cal from day 1. Who puts a senior in high school as the starting PG at the University of Kentucky?
Askew is going to end up being a trivia question one day. Who was the starting point guard on the worst team in KY history? Kid as a freshman was in over his head. Wish he would have stuck around for a couple more years. Maybe by his Junior, Senior year he is a very good guard.
Maybe Mintz will come back.I’m saying, we need another shooter for Carr to dish to.
I don't think you said you wished he were not here but I thought you did complain about his performance. If I am wrong then I apologize.Again ... is this happening in a different thread? Because it sure isn't happening here.
You can go ahead and find all my posts wishing Askew wasn't at Kentucky this year, if that's what you are suggesting.
Not believing the huge part 😉this might sound bad. I just got a huge erection
Yeah. Thought they might put him at the 2, JJ at the 3.He will never play over Tyger Campbell, maybe Loyola Marymount has a need for a backup PG.
I’d be all for that, ship the kid a car while your at it.Watch it be Hardy, Cal delivers the bag, and tells Askew "Sorry bud, you're gonna have to wait a year".
And score a ton of buckets in the NCAA tournament.Watch he will transfer to UCLA or Gonzaga.
That’s the one positive I think, Cal plays his guys who he played before and now that’s not a worry and the guy who should be playing PG will be playing it.I was trying to think positively with Askew returning, thinking that it was a positive and showed character that he wanted to stick it out. But now that he’s no longer a Wildcat, I can honestly say I didn’t feel great at all about him returning because Cal would feel like he owes him playing time. This is for the best for Askew and for UK. Good luck to him, but I don’t think he’ll amount to much.
You would complain regardless. And the entire state knew Askew was in over his head but Benny kept running him out there !
Maybe it wasn't his choice. Cal did say he was going to have to review everything and make any necessary adjustments.
Did it? I think I could argue that pointHagan's was a senior point guard and worked out ok.
Same situation as Askew.Did it? I think I could argue that point
yep, which I think doesn't do much for your point.Same situation as Askew.
If Askew is a fringe 5 star, then whoever graded him, needs to find a different occupation, because his basketball talent skills are not very good, no let me rephrase this, they suck rather badly. The problem is almost ALL of us wanted him benched many times during the season.. and as we all hope and pray we get Carr/Mintz/Skyy/Someone else, it's basically sending the message that we want Askew on the bench for another year. And I think the coaches agree with this.
So with the one time transfer protocol in place.. I don't think you're going to be able to keep a fringe 5-star from transferring anywhere he wants to go, knowing he's going to be benched after starting his freshman year.
We will have one next year. However you may not be pleased because you will still find something to complain about. You will still be tanked.yep, which I think doesn't do much for your point.
we have a revolving door at PG with a PG clearly not ready to return to UK, and no serviceable PG to replace them
He had the keys to the car from day one.So Askew didn't want to work on his game and improve? These kids just want the keys to the car from day 1.
Askew is a 2 guard not a pg. only cal would play a guy like askew at the point as a prayer. Juzang is also probably goneHe will never play over Tyger Campbell, maybe Loyola Marymount has a need for a backup PG.
It's going to suck when he flourishes after leaving here. These same people will be relentlessly bashing Cal when it happens lol.

Not the last 2 weeks. It appears he's taking his ball and going home.He had the keys to the car from day one.
I'm guessing Cal made it very clear that his opportunity was going to be much less this year. Writing on the wall. Not the last 2 weeks. It appears he's taking his ball and going home.
SuperSenior Mintz >>>>>Sophomore Askew
