That would make the first time that Calipari has ever, seriously, worked on anything in a B/W game. There is zero structure & very little actual effort, or, teaching in these “games”. They’re nothing more than half hearted pick up games, with no defense. It’s not a serious practice, at all. If that’s his reasoning it’s a weak excuse.

Cal basically just said on the radio that Big Z is fine but has some sore knees/calves/legs from the 3 practices he's been in and doesn't wanna risk anything / being overly cautious with him because we have to have him for the actual games.

EDIT: Goose also just said he's watched him practice and he isn't quite in shape compared to everyone else on the team and also said Big Z is having some normal body aches/pains from getting back into things. Made it sound like Big Z wasn't quite keeping up with his conditioning prior to arriving in Lexington.

Nothing Cal does is for the fans or UK. He's figured out how to do the absolute minimum on all fronts, and get the most out of draft night.
