First of all...I liked T.J.'s article updating us on the home page.
2nd...rather than calming me I believe now more than ever the UNLV buzz may have some legs. Quotes from T.J.:
"Reports from other websites, Twitter and recruiting analysts are ready
to pin the 7-foot, 240-pound Las Vegas native to him hometown UNLV, but
that news would surprise Zimmerman's closest confidant.
His mom, Lori Stevens.
She texted Cats Illustrated saying that anybody linking Zimmerman to UNLV at this time must know more than she does.
The Runnin' Rebels are very much still in play, and if the five-star decided to stay at home no one should be shocked, but the idea that Zimmerman has made that decision is inaccurate."
Great right? Wrong. Here's more:
"Zimmerman was planning on hosting schools for in-home visits as a
decision was looming, but Lori Zimmerman told Rivals all in-home visits
have been canceled and her son as asked for some space in his
recruitment.
Zimmerman hopes to spend some time without coaches
calling and contacting him, allowing him to relax and reflect on his
recruitment."
The cancelled in-homes & the no call, no text request gives me the impression a decision has been made regardless of what Mrs. Zimmerman has said. I think the leak has obviously upset them.
I may be wrong but that's my take on this now. It just doesn't smell good with Zimmerman now. I hope I eat my words big-time because I like the kids offensive game.
