Zach Yenser

Well there were some plays that were total misses. We had a double team get split. That was our center and guard. Pretty poor execution. I guess we have been spoiled by very solid lines. These guys have to grow up fast and start being consistent. If they aren't strong enough, we can't do much about that now. There is a lot of off-season work that must not have gotten done to the level needed to be an SEC starter.

When they get split they're not being beat. One or both of them are turning the guy loose. We're way too focused on getting to the next level. We need to hammer these combo blocks home then worry about the next level.

Now we have to insert another inexperienced piece if flax is out. So it's unlikely there will be much gelling anytime really soon. Imo even more reason to really drill that combo and just backburner the push to go next level.

Imo Cox is having a really disappointing season. I voiced my criticism of him on here last season when he was inexplicably getting mid season all American honors. He was fine but definitely not that level. Definitely struggling at C

Well, the time I saw them get split, they never went after anyone else. They were right there looking back at the mess their miss caused.

Watch it magically miraculously be great when an actual SEC running back gets the ball on Saturday
19 carries. 72 yards. Miraculous. Magical.
Awful o line with everyone looking for excuses that they might be only not good.
I'm not sure I blame Yenser.
Don't blame Smoke or Levis.
Certainly don't blame Wofford like some boot lickers.
Just some really bad recruiting 3 and 4 years ago.
We should've hit transfer portal and took any senior FCS or D3 player that wanted to come.
Now, struggle this year and hope we have youngsters that get better.

Let's give him a chance...I think the main problem is we took a step back in meaness & toughness...let's see if they get better from here on out...that Ole Miss game was a physical football game!

Our real problem is there isn’t a kinnard, fortner, Jackson ect. Hell even like a stenberg is far and away better than what we have. I guarantee you won’t be manhandling stenberg he might get a few unsportsmanlike penalties every now and then but he’s big and nasty and that’s what we need more than anything.

And we won't be recruiting anyone like that if we're dedicated to running wide zone. I hate the change in philosophy for that reason. Our ID is big mauling inside zone guys and I hate we're pushing away from that.

I'd love to see us turn back to where we were last half of last year. At that point, coen finally scrapped trying to make us something we weren't; and the offense took off.

Ok Yennie. Time to pick it up

you’ve played around long enough

the grace period is over

let’s go

They have gotten no better all year. They are fundamentally bad. Move on from Yenser. He sucks.

We have the worse Oline in power 5 and Dline not much better
Our QB has 1.5 seconds Rattler had 5 seconds

I am not blaming Yenser yet I think it’s on our last fake line coach so in a sense we lost two years. A year of coaching and a year of recruiting, plus it hurt us in the portal.

Yall giving Yenser a pass. Yes, the last guy sucked. He didn't do a good job of developing the line. But damn, we're in October. Their should be improvement.
USCjr has one of the worst Dline in the SEC and our guys got handled in the trench. No excuse!

Blaming yenser or wolford is BS. Look at the product out there. There’s a reason wolford didn’t put them out there. They are just as bad as they were in week 1. Playing them a few series vs Vandy last year wouldn’t have changed anything. We just missed in recruiting 2-3 years ago

We ran the ball well vs a good defense that gave zero respect to the pass. I thought the OL played pretty decent. The issue was 1) the staff didn't have faith in the QB which they showed on first snap. That trickled down. 2) qbs are still not stepping up. Rolling or reversing out just won't cut it in the sec. The OL needs help this year, so stepping up in the pocket is crucial.

Back to #1. That was very bad decision. We were good enough to beat them we just couldn't give them anything. Instead we have them something literally right away.
