You guys thought college refs were bad

It’s not like they call travels much better in the college game. Half the players walk in college on those run out dunks.

In the first half, Mitchell scored a 2 but switched his pivot foot twice on the move… no call. Coach Fox stood up on the bench and was like wtf

When walking and no dribbling and you’re on the backcourt, and you no opponent on you , let say no advantage/ disadvantage is created. The rest are clear : you should call them.

Why they are not call them:? because nba is pushing certain lines of emphasis to score more, to make game more attractive so they are making it easier and easier for the offensive players to score, dribble, etc… if you look at the format of the nba, new content is created in that direction.

“Professional” basketball players, what a joke. I saw the exact same thing yesterday, at my grandson’s game, those kids are under 8 years old.

College refs are still worse by a mile. Theres no continuity to what a blocking foul is, what verticality is, what a charge is, what a hand check is, when you're allowed to use your body on defense or when you aren't. At least in the NBA if you travel, at least everyone gets away with it.

I've noticed that college refs aren't calling 3 seconds in the lane anymore.

I saw Missouri players camp out in the lane many times yesterday and I saw our players do it a few times as well...

Hadn't noticed that but will watch

Not that i really MIND - but hanging in the rim after a dunk used to be a technical too

That one really doesn't bother me as long as we aren't talking face kicking or something

But - another deemphasis I guess

You can add walks, over the back, and moving screens to that list.
