Mark Pope in his first season at UK and after building a team from scratch, is going to have a 3-4 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Pope was hired too late. The top recruits were taken and the best portal players had signed with other schools. If you don’t like that, go back in time and have Cal violate the terms of his contract sooner.
As i opened this thread up i see UL is now down 10 to Duke without Flagg. Fans are such prisoners of the moment, and i’m guilty of it myself. I would suggest everyone give Pope some time to build this thing the right way. He’s onto something special here.

Sorry, but injuries have a ton to do with it, especially when you had 0 players who played here last year when you were named coach on April 12. We were missing 3 of our top 7 players from the beginning of the year last night. Starting a 4th string point guard is never going to be winning solution when you are facing a top 6 ranked team.
There is accountability and then there is common sense. Don’t be dense.
