Cal should announce he is stepping down first thing in the morning. Maybe the assistants could salvage something out of the season. Cal is simply finished.

Men vs boys . We have two players above Sophomore year and one did not show up at all tonight. All of Tennessee players who actually saw the court are Juniors or fifth year seniors. We saw the same mix in the final four last year. Tennessee is a final four team. We are not. That is why we lost at home by double digits. Just cannot win in college basketball anymore with Freshman. Cal cannot keep players and does not use the portal enough as he is protecting his NBA bound Freshmen. Edwards and Bradshaw are poster boys for this.

It’s like the fable of the monkey’s paw. We’ve wanted a team that didn’t play an offensive style straight out of the 80s for years now. We finally got one, but they play matador defense the likes of which we’ve rarely seen. The players bear some responsibility for some of their bad habits that are allowing this, but Cal is also to blame because he’s either unwilling or unable to coach that out of them, and doesn’t even seem to consider changing defenses every once in a while to try to steal a few stops.
Cal should take a leave of absence and try out for a Jardiance commercial and let Ulis run the team.

I’m just so apathetic now. What started as such a promising year has gone to compete shit in 3 weeks. It’s like Cal just ruins these guys. Why we don’t try different defenses blows my mind. All he’s got is blaming it on DJ being out. That’s all he’s got. Blame on things as long as it’s not on him.
