Amari was pretty damn good from late January on.
Seems Amari played hard most of the time, but his feelings affected his ability too much. Guy got down on himself to quick and too much.

Lendeborg and Pierre to me is two guys you go after and get with whatever you have to do. Then Alvaro, Wilkerson and either Bailey or Hall, whomever of the three you can get. Just strange we can't go hard with whatever we need to do to get top two or three needs. Then, mess around at a slow pace for last three guys.

Ok we don’t need another one like that and if we have to go that route it’s because Pope has swing and missed on quite a few. I just wish people would admit on here and quit trying to sugar coat everything. I love Pope and want Pope to be very successful but if we are settling for Mgbako it’s because a lot of better ones have said NO THANK YOU to Pope!

Which is why I am just checking in every few hours to see if anything has happened. I quit responding to the doom and gloomers who are trying to stir shit. And that is exactly what they are doing. Just ignore them. I trust in Pope and I trust he has a game plan that is best for Kentucky.

I understand and I loved Amari don’t take it the wrong way. I’m saying the next crop of players that Pope gets he needs to upgrade the roster as a whole not continue to take players that are same caliber as the previous year. He continues to do this he will never get us to that next level. We want to hang banners because like Pope said he understands the assignment.
This guy is not as good as Amari. Amari averaged 8.5 rebounds and played Defense. MM had 4 rebounds a game and didn't defend.
Ones a center and ones a wing player. Mgbako isn’t my first choice, but if the staff wants him then I’m gonna welcome him
