I don't know ... 10 P5 offers other than UK, including Penn State, Pitt, Va Tech, Miami. Not exactly chump change, imo. Who knows - maybe the SEC schools haven't gotten up to PA to recruit the kid. Seems like a really good addition at a position of need.
Runs well for a big guy and an aggressive blocker. Good year in S&C will help.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Solid offer sheet from some decent to good programs, but no offers from the elite schools.
This was an area owned, totally dominated, by Penn St for decades. They got a lot of great players from that area. I like it and as the closest SEC school they can be a success there.
If you want to see this player's value, watch his film and watch him run. Really moves well for such a big guy.

As to the status of those other offering programs, go to the Penn State forum and tell them they aren't elite.
Years ago we had William Perry, "Fridge" of course. Eddie "Meat Cleaver" Weaver. But my favorite was an OT that played college ball at Washington and later in the NFL. Name was Lincoln Kennedy, about 6'8" 350 who had the nick, with a name like Lincoln Kennedy of course,...."The Oval Office."
All in all, he's just another brick in the BB-Wall. Keep on building!

Last year he seemed to really like Penn St mentioning their program and the location. Looks like Woodward was a big key along with Yenser and he really wanted the SEC. I like what his high school coach said about him. Said his brut strength and his explosive punch snapping heads back are the two things that stand out to him. Sounds like we got a good one.
I haven't watched any of them in over 20 years. When I was a kid my brother and I rented them all the time.
Where have you been the past 5 years? Stoops and company are now the leaders, not the followers. We offer first, then the "best offers" come sniffing around after that.
When it comes to OL, UK is now among the elite. So when UK offers IMO it immediately pushes a OLinemen up in status (even if it doesn’t in the recruiting services).

We've not recruited Philly well in years as far as elite kids go. Harrison Jr, Swift, there is a backup QB at OSU behind Stroud that played in Philly but lived in NJ. Enai White. Just some recent ones.
I don't know this kid. He's not been mentioned on the free boards at all that I remember. UGA just flipped a 3* OL with similar size out of Virginia (Joshua Miller) from us. He sounds like a similar prospect. Be interesting to see if we pursue him harder now. I think we're looking for 6 OL this class.
We will officially be able to bring the “HOUSE DOWN” on opposing teams!!
