YAHTZEE 5.8 4 Star WR Anthony Brown commits to Kentucky

Don't think it is a negative to discuss QB depth on the topic of a 23 WR commitment

Based on Stoops history with the portal, if we do in fact pursue a QB at season end, I'd look at guys who have these qualities:
1)been at a power 5 program
2)have started or played significant snaps
3)UK recruited, or someone on staff recruited in HS. Past relationships are important.

Will Levis has started a few games and played in a bunch, for Penn St, and was recruited and known by Coen. Don't think we would be interested in highly ranked guys who have done nothing but be 4 or 5* in their signing class, sit the bench and show nothing at places like Ohio or Clemson or Georgia.

Help me: who is the quality strong arm QB that's going to be throwing to these guys in '23? Thanks.
I think we’ll hit the portal again until we have someone who develops. With NIL, we should all get used to bringing in unhappy portal 4* kids and I think we can supplement well by doing that.

Key, Barrion, Porter, and Anthony Brown on paper should be the most talented WR room UK has had in my memory. Christian Lewis, Magwood, and Crowdus also could be studs. Just need a QB to sling it to them
Can include Anthony and White, both are super fast. Have we ever had this much speed at WR? We know that Key, Brown, Crowdus, Anthony and White are blazers. Wonder how Barrion Brown and Porter compare in terms of speed? Regardless, like you say, the WR positions are getting ridiculously good. Will probably get at least one more top WR for next years class also.

Jordan Anthony has potential for Olympic speed and is over half a second faster in the 100 than Brown (who's no slouch in his own right).

Jordan's fastest that I could find in the 100 was 10.14 seconds.

Barion Brown's fastest I could find for the 100 is 10.83 seconds.

Jordan will look very similar to Ted Ginn Jr. in terms of body size and speed. Now talent, I'm not sure, here's hoping he develops.

That would be a GREAT comp even if he’s 80-90% of what Gunn was.

TGjr was one of the most electrifying players in college football and had a very long productive NFL career

Absolutely! Dude was absolutely phenomenal to watch. I was just referencing their body size at the same point in their careers.
