Xavier's Dailyn Swain will Visit Kentucky & Arkansas

yep, another sophomore...he would be a great pairing at SF w/Kam Williams.

His handles look good enough that if you wanted to play big, they could even be on the floor together at SG/SF.

For fun... imagine if we ended up getting the 6'7 PG from Monmouth? Talk about defensive length on the perimeter?? Again, not saying that would be ideal for all scenarios, but in theory, that should definitely help with pressuring 3pt shots.

I would be shocked if him and Conwell don't go to Texas.
Texas spent 16 million dollars on a roster last year. The results are irrelevant. They have money to spend. And that is last year's number. Who knows what they are investing this year? Compare that to the 6 million in NIL Kentucky is reported to have available and the disadvantage becomes crystal clear. Yet, many on this board flat-out refuse to see it and spend most of their time attacking anyone pointing this out. That's such a fruitless endevor and I'm convinced they are mainly trying to convince themselves.

The only source I see that states that Texas spent $16 Million in NIL is the link below, which doesn't seem super reliable.

But also, that same link/graph says that Kentucky spent $24 Million in NIL, so it somewhat invalidates the whole argument.

Where else do you see that Texas spent $16 Million in NIL and where was that sourced from?

where are you getting these number? Are they public knowledge?
You are saying UK has 6 million, others are saying UK has around 10 million.
Who do us uninformed fans believe? I have no doubt that Texas and others have more to spend than UK.
But shouldn't being in the SEC give them a boost over other non SEC teams?"

Go look at last years portal rankings for the Cats.
I'm not trying to be a jerk I'm really not but it only got us to the sweet 16. I know we didn't have Robinson but he still wouldn't have carried us much further if any further. This is the reason we have to have an upgrade in talent this upcoming season.

Robinson wasn’t the only one injured(butler) also we would’ve been a better seed if not the season long injuries.

totally agree with that, but it seems like that UK is loosing it's scorers, that many of the better ones are going elsewhere.
Portal consumes scorers every hour. We gonna have plenty of options.

would like to know how much the final four teams spent to assemble their teams and how that compared to UK
I'm sure Duke spent a ton, but did UF & Auburn spend that much? They really don't have any "big name" players

That’s the thing even when your team struggles you’re gonna have a couple stat stuffers. Maybe pope is waiting to announce like a boom boom boom. He knows what it takes to win in the sec and compete for a final four. We need to throw the bag at the top players pope wants I mean really wants. We need to throw the bag and show we won’t be out bid for a player that our coach knows we need to get to the final four. He needs a big kickstart. Worst case a school matches our ridiculous money and spends their entire budget. How much does the school make if we win the title?

Good question. What about the return on making the final four?

He never has facts for his posts, stop trying to reason with a troll.

Looks like Swain made it out of the Texas visit without committing.

read somewhere today that the SEC set the record for$ earned from the SEC by sending 14 teams to the tournament. I forgot what the amount listed was, but it was a lot. How is this $ distributed? Is it equally divided or is it based on each team's advancement?
