Lockhart still in. He gets a fly out before giving up a double to right. Strikeout follows that up. Lockhart seems to be emerging out of the pen. Did pretty well this past weekend as well. Wild pitch advances the runner to third. A grounder to first and Lockhart beats the runner to the bag, barely.
It was good to see A-Rod get that HR. He’s really been scuffling early this season. He’s batting .143 coming into today but has a solid .388 OBP. If he was hitting even .250, the OBP would be almost .500.
Got to love the patience and the ability to draw walks. It's crazy that he is hitting so poorly while having such a good eye.
Shinn hit by a pitch to start the UK 4th. Collett grounds into a 3-6 fielders choice. Shelby sends a deep fly for a long out. Reed grounds out to first to end the inning.
At least we have some timely hits. That's what I'm happy about. We aren't taking, but timely hitting is more important.
15 might be developing into a dependable arm out of the bullpen. Good outing today.
Fly out to Shinn begins it but Burchett hits a batter with a 1-2 count. Another 1-2 count is lost and Burchett gives up a double that scores a run. 8-2. He goes to third on the throw home. Burchett gives up a walk. UK going to make a change and go to Ayers.

Another 1-2 count and Ayers loses him by hitting him. That's three 1-2 counts that UK bullpen fails to take advantage of. 8-3 now.
Full count and Ayers gets a strikeout. 2 outs now. Back to back Ks ends it. Good to see him turn it around.
OK Ayers dug a deep hole but then filled it back in by getting the two strikeouts. You can fault the walk and HBP but the recovery was clutch.
Kessler single leads the inning off. He did his damage against a new pitcher from Xavier. Schultz follows it with a walk. Wild pitch moves the runners up. Another wild pitch scores Kessler. 9-3 with Schultz at third with no outs. Hill hit by a pitch. Look for him to steal. New pitcher coming in.
ARod pops out in foul ground by first for the first out of the inning. Daniel singles to left and scores Schultz. 10-3.
Shelby gets second life after popping one up and the catcher misplays the ball. He then makes them pay with a HOME RUN. BACK TO BACK!
Ramsey throws mostly strikes and secures the win. So the last three pitchers did very well playing with a big lead.
