I thought it was the most on Saturday, but had forgotten our pasting of 18th ranked UT in Knoxville, 34-7, in 2020, and our beat down of 11th ranked Mississippi State, 28-7 at home in 2018.

The only comparable (by spread) wins I found dating back to 1974, were our 21-0, 1976 Peach Bowl win over a ranked North Carolina team, our 1977 win at a ranked LSU, 33-13. We also beat Georgia by 33, but they were unranked.

Hence, it is fair to say that Coach Stoops has half of our most lopsided wins over ranked teams in the last 50 years.

I want to agree, but feel all hinges on the passing game morphing into something better than its been this week... assuming we've not been holding our best cards for this moment.

It really should've been 48 or 56 to zero. The score was much closer than it seemed. We have them both tds on inexplicable individual coverage breakdowns and the second one was after an incredibly fluke play.

Plus our drops cost us one TD for sure and killed the other drives where we didn't get in the end zone. Then you had stoops basically taking a knee at the end when we clearly could've had 7 more.
