Would Phil Longo's offense work here? As OC?

Puts up good numbers in the ACC which may be a problem. Still, good numbers. He developed his offense from Mike Leach but has adopted it to be more than just the Air Raid. Has North Carolina's offense rolling now. Would he be head coaching material?
 
Head coaching material? Do you know something about Stoops?
I think he's referring to if a school will hire him as HC this offseason not neccesarily here and I think after the news today we can calm down about Stoops leaving.
 
God I hope not. I feel like they always underachieving. UNC fans would probably love for us to take him

Stoops could have Spurrier or Mumme as OC and it wouldn't make a difference. He'd still handcuff them and demand that we barely average 21ppg.
 
Some schemes are better than others but offenses usually "work" because of the players, not the plays. [winking]

Wasn't he at OM with Freeze or 1st year or so at OM? Seems like it worked fine there.
