Worst loss I’ve seen in a while

You control 95% of the game. Better players. Idk about coaching but I know about effort and our guys we re awful. Mentally they made some ridiculous mistakes and some guys like Oweh need to step it up. Even with our guys missing we had the better team. But no guts. These are the games you rely on coaching to pull these college guys through. When we were up 5-6 stuck at 70 we should have called TO or run a legit play. We should have had our 5 best players in. Ugghhh what a frustrating season

Lost it when players started playing outside of their skill/role. Oweh trying to shoot like Curry. Perry tightened up in the clutch. The last 3 minutes of the game the team completely seized up.

You sound ridiculous. Take Johnson away from Texas and see what happens to them. Take Zakai Zeigler away from Tennesse. Take Flagg away from Duke.

We are missing 2 point guards...and Perry is not a point guard... When you have a center brining the ball up the court... You have problems... Perry faded at the end... Moment to big.. Tired.. Who knows... Missing 2 point guards, and one of better offensive players... Carr not the same... And we lost by 4(really 7) it sucks... But get people healthy... And we can still make a splash..

I hope somehow this team can bounce back to finish the season. It’s been a roller coaster season thus far. They let this game slip through their fingers. Very disappointing.

UK with no real ball handler in the game still had chances to win. Did not watch but kept up on here late in the game. Sounds like Free throws and lack of a facilitator was the biggest issue. Butler and Robinson would have been a major help of course. But I still think Carr is battling injury and just not accepting it. What he shows on the court is proof of that, at least by what is being stated on here. So you are down, Krissa, Butler, Robinson, Carr, Noah Hurt? and still had a chance. Oh well. Vandy will be hard to win with a patch work team. Not going to get easier from here. Lets buckle up and see where we stand next week. GO BIG BLUE!!!

I agree with that. Unfortunately hero ball from a subpar 3 point shooter is never a good recipe. but it wasn't just him, a lot of simple errors cost us this one. Unforced turnovers, missed FT's, missed box outs and a few players no showing.

I agree with that. Unfortunately hero ball from a subpar 3 point shooter is never a good recipe. but it wasn't just him, a lot of simple errors cost us this one. Unforced turnovers, missed FT's, missed box outs and a few players no showing.

I will say it again, Pope is coaching his butt off to keep this team in games with all of the injuries he has. Imagine if he had Big Z instead of Carr. Imagine if he had Davis instead of Brea. I could go on but I think you get my point. Without those players, he is doing a lot better than our former coach.

Perry is a freshman who needs to continue working on his body. He did the best he could and that is all anyone can do.
