I was listening on the radio and was calling exactly what USCj would run offensively on their last scoring drive, while driving in heavy interstate traffic. Wtf was our staff watching?

The gamecock defense is giving you 4-5 yard routes, and you throw the ball deep? What kind of idiot doesn't take those completions all day knowing your players could bust any one of them for a score, then counter with a Davis quick hitter when they are on their heels?

Haven't seen this kind of ineptitude since we left 2 receivers uncovered for Gator TDs in one game. Has this staff already accepted job elsewhere?

I couldn't believe the 3rd down call with about 4 minutes left. If they were going to go for it on 4th down, why not run a higher probability play so that you would at least get some yards if not the 1st down so that the 4th down play would have been more manageable? When it comes to our two major sports coaches, we have a case of dumb and dumber and I am not sure which is which.

I thought the same thing. If BB was 15 yards open behind the defense Leary couldn’t hit him. You’ve got to make a higher percentage call in that situation.

Didn't we also choke against UT this season? We also had a 14 point lead against Mizzou.

We were there and you would have thought they had beaten Alabama.
Sad! We’ll always be down there with Carolina and Vandy until fans demand more and changes happen!

Beamer and his entire family were at the post game interview celebrating their 5th win LOL

I've been saying the same thing all year. Why keep going deep with low percentage passing plays and give up the higher percentage chunk yardage pass plays and methodic marches down field. None of it makes sense. I just think this is a low IQ group that's too comfortable with their big payroll.

I mean , what are the odds of Barion Brown actually creating enough space ,Leary throwing an accurate deep pass , and Barion actually catching it . I’d say about 1%.

No, Lol. I was having issues with the site. I have asked the mods to remove them.

Same here. Couldn't log on the forum for most of 20min before the game ended, then the forum was down for at least 15 min, but when it came up again, I couldn't post a thing or look at notifications. Crazy...

I really have to wonder if this cognitive impairment is the new pandemic. It's insane the absolute stupidity in the coaching ranks these last 2 years.

Yes, but this team was far worse than MIZZOU or UT by a long shot. The coaches and the program bottomed out this week, and I didn't think it was possible to screw up worse than we did against Missouri and UT when playing this game. The SEC record was salvageable before tonight, and they screwed the pooch.

We will not get a fair playing field next week because of the way we've choked and played undisciplined this entire season, and may beat ourselves by 3 TDs next week if our coaches heads are still up their assets.

Very disappointed

Thanks for rounding the percentage up from 0.005%
I shouldn’t even post after this….just a sickening performance tonight

To me at least this is worse than losing to Vandy last year. It is worst UK loss in at least 5 years. We just lost to a bad,bad team
I wouldn't normally agree that ANY of our conference opponents would be worse than Vandy but given that we had health as an excuse last season, Davis gave Vandy a competent run game last year and this South Carolina team has significant health issues...yeah, it's a little worse. Demoralizing.

The offensive play calling was baffling to say the least

- By my count we took 6 deep shots...and not a one was completed. All the balls were 3-5 yards overthrown. The only one close was a sideline route to Barion....and he dropped another ball that hit him square in the hands.
- We were cooking USC on those counter/pulling run plays....but we'd revert to taking deep shots and then run the ball straight up the gut for two yards....
- Over middle routes to TE were wide open all game....but we kept forcing deeper shots

Just baffling to say the least

Don’t compare football to basketball. You look stupid if you do.

Angering. Frustrating. Rage inducing. My high school coach could've called a better game and he sucked ask.

This staff just refuses to take what is handed to them, and took the ball out of their best athlete's hands. AGAIN

A couple of the deep shots were there with just a little bit more air under them.

You say baffling and I say miserably inadequate.
