I don’t really have the answer but I share the question. We only got up 22 threes tonight and most of those weren’t good ones. I thought this offense was supposed to generate those hand over fist.

If they are doing what they are supposed to be doing, it does. Nothing wears a defense down faster, and puts it back on its heels, than a constant passing offense. The guys know how to run it, it's just individuals worried about their own stats and getting noticed.

I don't know, that's heard a lot on here and it might be true. I just think the coaching staff needs to do a better job at preparing these guys and making sure they're good to go BEFORE the game starts, not trying to analze what went wrong in the first half to try and come back in the second. Last few games they've played like a Cal team. Not too long ago I thought we'd demolish Arkansas, but right now I'm not so sure about that.
Remember the announcers discussing Carr during the game as to how different the b-ball culture was from Wake Forest to UK and how hardly anyone knew he was on Wake’s team to everyone knowing that he’s a UK guy, AND knowing everything about his career, stats, etc? I’d say that type of treatment (not singling out Carr specifically) needs to be addressed.
Don’t get me wrong I like the direction I’m seeing and love Pope as a coach but the culture still lingers.

You're a contributing player for the UK Basketball program. If people don't know your history and stats, that's NOT a good thing. That means the team has majorly sucked for about 10 years. No one wants that "culture" here.
I should have clarified better. When being hounded from fans/media it lends itself to reverting back to the era prior and the hopes of showing out to get drafted…even if means playing for oneself; not as a team. That was my fault.
Much like game night , it seemed that too many times we took poor shots, over dribbled, or went one-on-one way too many times, when an extra pass, or kick out could have netted a better shot. That’s all I meant.

That's something that takes years of building to overcome, as well as not pushing people out the door along the way. Upper classmen that have weathered that are needed to teach the younger guys what to do to handle it.

I don't agree with the OP. But one thing is for certain, unless this team buys into the Pope system 100% we will lose games we shouldn't. They have a lot of me ball left in them and it came out at MSG. Hopefully they buy in, if not it could get messy in conference play.
Well anyone saying that is not a true UK fan but trolls. They did suck against Ohio St but that was one game. And yes no one in the SEC is going undefeated and UK is going to lose a few games, but anyone who follows college basketball knows there is no clear cut favorite, but around 10 to 12 teams and UK is in that conversation.
