MSU was really a must-win, it will most likely prove the easiest of the higher-profile games this year. Dropping that one in an amazingly frustrating fashion was backbreaking, especially being the first marquee game since the St Peters debacle.
Then being dominated from start to finish by a team that hasn't played great this year has got to weigh on this team's psyche. And our coaching staff obviously has issues getting guys to play with confidence.
I have zero confidence in Cal to fix this since he really hasn't changed a thing over the last 10 years with similarly disappointing results. I guess it's a positive that he's trying to recruit his way out of this nearly decade-long funk. But most of us are now mentally preparing for another season of offensive woes, lackluster showings in marquee match-ups, getting handled on the road in the SEC, and avoidable but inevitable frustrating losses in the postseason.
How does this end?
