With all due respect, I guess you don't listen to Coach Stoops often...He LOVES bringing the guys to Rupp for basketball games to show them the depth of the BBNOriginally posted by mrschwump:

It's a plus UK has a good basketball program and can treat football prospects to a game in Rupp. But I think a football player's experience there is far down the list of reasons he would select, or not select, UK for his school. It's another piece of the puzzle.Originally posted by sluggercatfan:

My opinion only from reading a few tea leaves is that there is a 70% chance Kendall decommits and a 60% chance he flips to UK. He's a guy that along with Jackson could put UK in a position to have it's greatest class ever. That of course is a glass half full attitude but I really think Dawson could be the difference in this one, if he flips.Originally posted by mrschwump:

As for Kendall, a scenario is he'd decommit from UT today or tomorrow then announce for UK a day or 2 later. But, I think it's a long shot. I think, for the time being at least, he stays committed to UT. Hope I'm wrong.
Kap, could be right. We've heard a thousand times over recruiting is about relationships....I think Kendall probably had a good relationship with Neal Brown. I think Brown was in pretty early on him and I think if Brown was still at UK Kendall would've flipped by now. I think he's in the process of establishing a relationship with Dawson. Hopefully Dawson can reel him in.Originally posted by KapitalCat:

Taking the recruits to Rupp shows that UK has passionate fans. Those fans will be just as passionate about football if UK gets it turned around and with a little guidance from the coaching staff I think that can be shown to the recruits. I know the conception is that UK and the state of Kentucky are basketball orientated. That isn't entirely true. It is true the fans are passionate about their great basketball team but IMO the state of Kentucky on the high school level is more football orientated than basketball orientated and all is needed is for the sleeping giant that is UK football to awaken and this fan base will go nuts over football.Originally posted by sluggercatfan:

Hungout with some of the Kentucky basketball team... I've never felt so short before
According to some of the media guys who interviewed Kendall got the impression that he would have liked for the situation at UT to have worked and he would have been happy. Being with his brother doesn't seem to be a huge thing but when he made the statement that he likes being wanted(Kentucky offer) it kind of showed his discontentment with the number of QBs that UT has offered. Now can UT bs their way by saying don't look at all of the other pretty girls in the room, you're the only girl we want, I don't know if he buys that or not. And read between the lines I'm not calling him a girl, lol.Originally posted by frost-1:
