That’s just scratching the surface. It's pretty cool. Will be interesting to see where it goes.
Side note, I watch quite a few of that guy's tech videos. I strongly recommend watching one he did about AI movies a few days ago. Pretty nuts where we're headed.

Did you see the video. Of the guy scoring how AI can track everyone in your house. Even through walls. With your router? It's pretty cool. Will be interesting to see where it goes.

Huh?!People are some serious wastoids.... That kind of dough is just causing chaos... When the dollar goes bust and it will due to things like this (Not just this...) then what... NOT being political. Just trying to inject some sort of "normalcy"... Something has to be worth something to cost what it costs.... Just trying to wrap around how that would be worth the price, I do that with a lot of things now. Many times I just do without versus paying what I do not want to pay...
He’s saying what I’m kinda saying. That’s too damn expensive. Lol.Huh?!

There are folks that will tell you something is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. I get that, but my rebuttal to them would be what is a human life worth to you? If you have so much money that you can spend $2500 on something like this… why not spend it instead on helping a starving person in a third world country get some food, shelter, or medicine?
I am a capitalist through and through, mainly because no other system has proven to work as well. And I’m not trying to be judgmental.
It cannot end well without some sort of normalcy defining parameters. That is going to be the issue.... Who defines the parameters....
I'm sure there's a million things problematic with the ball, currently. It's basically a prototype. Baby steps.
Hate to open this can of worms, but the guinea pigs opened up their wallets for electric cars too.I suspected as such, just blows my mind how they price things...
I know. I just thoroughly enjoy giving my buddy, @BBUK, shit. He’s saying what I’m kinda saying. That’s too damn expensive. Lol.
Neat idea. Too much cost atm.

About the same for me as well. He's definitely a go to for me. And you're spot on.Been watching Marques Brownlee's tech reviews for what seems like 10-15 years now. I think he might have been the first YT personality who I subscribed to. He's got a great way of making technology easy to digest for anyone.
It would be nice if a ball was invented that could somehow pinpoint the last person to touch it on an out of bounds call so games won't be delayed 15-30 minutes, it seems by reviews. With technology what it is, I wouldn't be surprised if we see that soon.

If a table saw can known when it's cutting a finger as opposed to a piece of wood, then a basketball should be able to have a tiny ass sensor which can relay pressure and motion changes.
It's just leather/rubber/synthetic with a bladder. Surely it doesn't.I'd bet that when the current ball was in prototype, it probably cost that much.
Bought a handful of them to try out. Not a massive fan, but a cool conversation piece.
Solving a problem that doesn’t exist and charging ridiculous money for it.
One positive thing about AI videos, film crews won't need to worry about Alec Baldwin playing with guns anymore...It's pretty cool. Will be interesting to see where it goes.

Probably because you, like me, grew up learning the hard way the value of money and how hard it is to earn it. We may spend a lot now, but we (most of us) stay within our means because we learned. There are folks that will tell you something is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. I get that, but my rebuttal to them would be what is a human life worth to you? If we think the propaganda machine is bad now, just wait. Tech is evolving faster than we can keep up or regulate. Very dangerous situation and most don’t realize it.That’s just scratching the surface.
And didn’t mean to poo poo the idea. Just think 2500 bucks is silly at this point in time. Could be a very cool future thing though.
As far as AI generated videos, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Look up Googles Gemini. It’s producing top notch quality videos for text alone.
It’s both exciting and terrifying at the same time. Especially considering people take stuff on the internet at face value.
I make 20 k per year and have been saving like a mad man. Was able to get 3 of these in cool colors. Not many people can say they have this many, and I am proud of my accomplishment. You bought a handful of these airless basketballs to try out? I'm calling bs.
