Willis says he, "is deteriorating"

just read on KSR - he's got some minor injuries, twisted ankle and some pulled muscles, and is feeling kind of beat up right now, but says he'll be ready to go on Saturday.
Sounds reasonable. Fix him up Doc, we got a big game deep in the heart of Texas Saturday and gotta have our homeboy!

There ya go, that's the message I was trying to get across. He played great tonight being hurt as he was but feel he will be fine based on what he himself said tonight.

My prediction is he will be fine, most guys are probably beaten down after playing extended minutes, but they may not be as honest as Willis

The picture in the link looks like he's drinking a soda, hopefully not if his body is deteroiating (tounge in cheek)

We've also heard in the past week or so about going 2 hours 30 mins in practice which is something Cal doesn't normally do at this stage.

So maybe that has some effect.

Thursday to Saturday to Tuesday........that's a rough stretch for a tiring team.

Amazing tho,,,,,,,,we lose Poy and play like nothing happened. We lose Lee for the second half last night and again no problems. I think this team's confidence is sky high right now

If true and Willis is deteriorating physically with the minimal min he had early on then he doesn't have it

I have a feeling that it is more of the practices Cal has had, trying to get their attention, rather than minutes in games. May have gotten them to start playing well, but it also may have taken it's toll, physically on some of the players. Now that he has them playing together, he can back off them some, and keep them fresher. Besides the obvious ailments to Willis and Lee, I thought they looked a little tired, last night. Even Ulis was short with his shot, last night, and it may be their legs. Hopefully, after A&M, with getting to stay at home next week, they get rested before going back on the road.

Damn. ... Cal hated him and would not play him until he read rafters.... Not w he is playing him to much and deteriorating him. Cal must really hate him.

How the hell is uliss surviving?

Sarcasm ... Maybe.
I can't really figure out what you're saying here because it looks like you were texting this message while you were in a gunfight with insurgents but you did accomplish one thing. You managed to be the first to misspell the worlds easiest last name in a way nobody else has. Congrats.

Willis is probably just used to more MPG. I haven't been to a practice or looked into them that much, but I imagine in most programs, the high caliber players get limited practice and treatment if they're nearing exhaustion or breaking down? That would have never been afforded to Willis 3 months ago, but probably would be now.
Why does it matter that his new car doesn't get the same fuel mileage as his last one? This is new. :)

Hes bluffin and is going to break it off in the Aggies Saturday.
I laugh every time I hear that saying.
Although I'm careful not to use that phrase around the Knoxville, Tenn area because one of their latest scandals involves a pool cue being broken off in…..
Yeah it's not good.

It is a scary thought that we could be without Poythress, Lee, and Willis. Good thing we have rebounding guards in Murray and Briscoe.

Even crazier that we could be without those three, go into College Station and walk away with a W.
