Cal was far and away the best hire we could have possibly made. He's made UK the hottest program in the nation, bar none. However, even Cal has admitted there is a great deal of stress that comes with this job, and that he couldn't see himself coaching here for an extended period of time(extended being 10+ years).
Of course, part of that has to do with the fact that Cal didn't get here until he had already been coaching for quite some time, but my question still remains: do you think we'll hire a coach any time soon who spends the large majority of his career here? Or do you think that trend is over, and now we'll hire established coaches like Cal who have already built the large part of their resume?
