We had Ole Miss beat at their house and Levis fumbled it away - TWICE!
We followed that up with the worst performance at home vs USCjr in years.
We had a prime time matchup with our most hated football rival at YouTee and completely embarrassed ourselves and the entire football program.
We barely won today only because Missouri self destructed and gave us the game.
Yeah, it’ll be really cool to be ranked 24th or something……geez 🙄🙄

Yes and after we dismantle Vanderbilt we will be 7-3 and pushing the top 20 heading into the big clash v potentially #1 and undefeated Jawja in the Bluegrass!!

Ranked or not, not having Levis cost us the SC game plain and simple. That has to factor into the equation. You can talk about the turnovers and botched Special teams play, against Ole Miss, but ultimately it was lost on the illegal procedure penalty on the TD to take the lead at the end of the game. Everything else led up to that point so you can say one penalty cost us that game in the end. We should be 8-1 right now, but fate says we’re not. I could have accepted last week’s debacle a lot better had those other two games gone like they should have. We would still be in contention to play UGA for the east, but we’re not. So now we just need to finish strong and take two of these next three.
After breaking out the gadget 40 yd snap over the punter’s head to get a roughing call play to seal the game Id say or ST is easily top 10!
Any good uk fan should care. We have fought for years for a crumb of respect. For just a chance to be seated at the big table. You are damn right it matters for us to have that little number beside our name. It signifies growth and improvement.

23 in coaches. 27 in AP I think. A few teams ranked 15-25 has lost or are losing. So they should be 21-25

Yeah I don’t get it. People on here keep bitching and moaning about “taking that next step,” but then don’t care about being ranked? Too many of our fans revel in being miserable and bitching. It’s pathetic and consistent with the emotional maturity of a 6-year-old.

Rankings don't matter. Maybe you just "need" to hear someone else tell you that UK is this or that whether they are or they are not. I don't get excited about those who want to put lipstick on a pig and call it something other than a pig. I could care less about rankings ... just win and ignore the idiot pundits. Who we are isn't any more or less true because someone prematurely put UK on a list. So, we used to have a little number by our name then we lost too many games, and they took our little number away. Embarrassing. Someone was really wrong about all those little numbers in the first place. So, if you "need" to believe UK is worthy of some number next to their name, enjoy that with your fifth of Makers. By the time the season is over, for many teams the lipstick will be completely worn off leaving many wondering where the pig came from.
Those little numbers represent the wins you want so bad. They coincide. You’re a walking contradiction. Those little numbers are also tethered to opportunity. Win- get ranked- keep winning - stay ranked- stay ranked long enough and that means you’ve picked up wins- pick up the wins and stay ranked and that means you get a better bowl.
I feel like you are smart enough to understand this. You just prefer to be Uber negative and miserable. You like it better.
