I think Alabama and Florida could score 100. Auburn maybe. High scoring OT games are possible. I will go with both score and give up 100.
We looked awful against brown and almost scored 90. We're scoring 100 again but not confident we won't give up 100 also.
It was pretty bad in my estimation. You expect the team to look more like they know the offense and for things to look smoother as the year goes on a familiarity with the plays and players grow. We look like we’re regressing.Awful?

Everything you said.Struggling to understand this take. I thought we looked pretty good yesterday.
88pts, 50%/36%/78%, 18asst/5to (60% asst rate and 3/1+ asst/to, 14 steals on defense may have been season high
Not sure what you and others saw, but I didn't feel like we looked bad after first 3-5 minutes of game.

Just what I said in my previous post. Brown is obviously a pretty bad team, and after struggling in recent games I hoped to see a more fluid and connected offense and while we ended up with 18 assists, most of those came down the back stretch of the game.Struggling to understand this take. Because much of the 1st half scoring was from turnovers. You confuse lack of perfection with poor play.Just what I said in my previous post. Not sure why everyone is on me for this take. Based on what we saw from the offense earlier in the year, that got us so excited, I just expected to see us be able to run our stuff against the better teams on the schedule too.Because much of the 1st half scoring was from turnovers. You confuse lack of perfection with poor play.
I don't think anyone with a straight face can say UK's offensive performance against Brown was anywhere close to where it was when the season started. Not sure why everyone is on me for this take. I mean if you’re happy with that performance yesterday and have no concerns where the offense is, then we simply have a different opinion.
There is no way UK is going to give up 100 points.
Yeah, some of us are pretty dumb. We should be bothered that we scored 88 instead of 100. I mean, why didn’t we shoot 60% instead of 50%?I don't think anyone with a straight face can say UK's offensive performance against Brown was anywhere close to where it was when the season started.
Scores outside of major conference play are commonly higher than in-conference play. I don't see any of the SEC teams maintaining their out of conference scoring performances.6 SEC teams are currently in the top 12 in the country in scoring, including us. Have to think there will be at least a couple games where both teams cut loose and run, kind of like our game with Bama last year.
Maybe try not to be so thin skinned in 2025. This is a message board, and it is the wrong place to be if you can't handle disagreement. We are simply posting opinions, and it shouldn't be taken personally if others don't agree with the opinions.Yeah, some of us are pretty dumb. We should be bothered that we scored 88 instead of 100. Nice to see that there’s still lots to complain about as we flip the calendar into 2025.
It has nothing to do with being disappointed in a 30 pt win, it’s just disappointing to see us still struggling in half court offense against inferior teams. We saw how bad the offense looked against OSU with better athletes. The SEC is going to be a walk across the coals.Yeah, some of us are pretty dumb. That’s not what you do. “I don’t think anyone with a straight face” is you preemptively saying that contrary opinions to yours are stupid.Maybe try not to be so thin skinned in 2025. Again I give Pope a full pass for this season without much expectation at all, but when you see the team running the exciting and promised offense and then struggle to replicate that same early success, it is a bit disappointing.
Unless your username is "we" instead of Aike, there is no "we" involved. Love how you are trying to pull others into this. My response is to you and not to the "we" you mentioned. That’s not what you do. “I don’t think anyone with a straight face” is you preemptively saying that contrary opinions to yours are stupid.
Just agreeing with you man! You’re smart and we’re stupid. Nothing to get excited about. Let’s see how much complaining we can do between now and March. I’m trying to help you rally the troops.
Awesome. Thanks for your permission. I always knew you were one of the more magnanimous message board posters. The way you process what you read is the way you process it. I am not going to spend a minute worrying about how you might interpret something that I post. You are free to draw whatever conclusions you draw to what I post. However, if your interpretation isn't what I literally posted, I am not responding to it and certainly not going to defend it.
I see Kentucky-Alabama and Kentucky-Florida as track meets. There is no way UK is going to give up 100 points.
Scoring 100 (and giving up 100) is more about pace of the games vs actually doing well.
The Citadel under that one coach posted a bunch of scores in the upper 90s and 100s but no one would have mistaken them for a good offensive team.
I'd say it's probably unlikely to be honest. On both accounts.
There's only 5 teams in the SEC that play at a relatively fast pace. We are one of them. The other four are Alabama, UF, Arkansas and Vandy. However, outside of Vandy those other 3 teams are also pretty good on defense.
I would say given the pace the other teams play, it would be unlikely in those games.
I see Kentucky-Alabama and Kentucky-Florida as track meets.
We did it 4 times last year. Gave up 100 twice.
I’d say we are more likely to score 100 than give up 100, but I’m kind of expecting both.
At the beginning. I had to watch the game after it was over and this board was becoming kamikaze pilots so I just left the board alone until I could watch for myself. We didn't play bad but this board was acting like we didn't even deserve to be on the court which is ridiculousAwful?
You seem pretty offended there sir. Just looking at things like a coach would. Not satisfied just because we won big and did some good things. The components of the game that I’ve wanted to see run smoothly and machine like haven’t shown that level of precision and I’m disappointed in that, sorry to ruffle any feathers.Haha ok. Thanks for the honest and totally “I’m a huge uk fan and only want the best” assessment of our pedestrian 88 point performance.
Pope doesn’t need a pass from you and nothing was disappointing.
We average 89 points (3rd in the country) and scored 88. Oh my! How could things possibly go so wrong!?!?!?
Good point. Certainly possible I would say but I just think given the strength of the SEC this season compared to last, it might be a little bit tougher.
Who knows tho.
As long as we win I don't care if it's 100 or 60 we score IMO LOL.
You might be right but I just don't see that type of scoring occurring against in-conference teams. There are a lot of twinkie wrappers left in the wake of the SEC teams' scoring binges. I just don't see that type of freestyle scoring occurring in the conference considering conference wins are at a premium this year. There will be more of a judicious approach to scoring by all teams moving forward. It will be similar to what you see during sweet sixteen play.I see Kentucky-Alabama and Kentucky-Florida as track meets.
Yeah, if both teams are hot, Bama could torch us but we can torch them. Both teams struggle on the defensive ends at times. We could possibly score 100+ and give up 100+ in the same game.
Damn bro, are you ****ing stupid? He’s not throwing jabs lol.. You tha Nostradamus of this board? You’d argue with a tree lmao👌Unless your username is "we" instead of Aike, there is no "we" involved. I predicted that for Saturday. So bet the under. We could possibly score 100+ and give up 100+ in the same game.
