Will spring practice be enough time to get the oline ready to play winning football in this scheme next year? Outside zone is the basis for the entire offense and we can’t execute it.

It's a reasonable question, but the honest answer depends on a number of variables that haven't happened yet.

Wth is going to come play QB and RB behind an unproven O-line? Particularly that are able to compete right away in the SEC.

Next year is likely to be a massive step back in terms of high-end talent and production at skill positions. I would not be shocked to see Key and Brown enter the portal.

Brown and key aren’t leaving unless it gets extremely toxic, which I doubt it will. Kentuckys is going to have to hit the portal hard, a QB, some o-line help, a pass rusher or two, and maybe a linebacker

With the talent those guys have, I sure as hell wouldn't stick around if I don't have a pretty solid guarantee I have a QB who can actually get me the ball consistently down field and not these awful passes we use now that don't even get past the LOS. And a coach that will actually let the offense open up.

I agree, Kentucky is getting a QB, we will have to wait see who it is, and hopefully scangerallo will be out, stoops and the rest of the staff have to see his crap ain’t working

Do you really have any faith in Stoops getting a solid OC and actually letting them coach the offense? This will be #4 in 4 seasons, and #6 overall. Only 1 of those OC's has even been what you might consider good, and even that offense was limited. At some point we have to start holding the HC responsible for the issue he is clearly responsible for.

We also aren't exactly great on defense either, and probably need to look into a new DC and coaches on that side. Plus we obviously need a special teams coach.

When you consider the fact we basically need an overall on offense, defense and special teams, maybe it's time to admit the HC isn't doing his job and just move on.

Coen might be open again, and I Agree stoops does deserve criticism he has to stop his big ten football approach

Coen is looking for a HC job if he comes back to college. And I would be happy to give him ours. He would honestly be one of my first calls when we inevitably replace Stoops in the next 2 or 3 years.

We are not changing offensive coordinators. The question is whether the staff will adjust to the players or be able to “coach up” the oline this offseason. If they can’t coach them up, they sure as hell better adjust the scheme.

I agree, if stoops wants to leave but it can’t hurt Kentucky to ask him if the OC position opens up, I bet scangerallo ends up staying, and Kentucky ends up going after the clemson QB if he enters the portal
