Actually I'm 84. I was a spry 70 when I cracked the vertebrae. I also broke an ankle when I was in my youthful 40's. I played another half hour. Couldn't put a shoe on it the next dayYes, but aren't you 80 years old???
Congratulations on beating the odds. I'm 70++ and holding. One hit like Will Levis took in that Florida game would finish me off today.Actually I'm 84. I was a spry 70 when I cracked the vertebrae. Getting to 70 is the hard part. You've got it made from there.Congratulations on beating the odds. I'm 70++ and holding. One hit like Will Levis took in that Florida game would finish me off today.
Yes.Think we will hear it will be a game time decision on Levis, Robinson, Key, Flax, Jones, Smoke, Weaver and Smith?
BS .. he was not , quit rewriting history .He was limping in several different occasions during he ole miss game.
It's his wrist ... no, no , its his ankle .. no .. foot .... wait I thought it was his Great Toe ??? LOL .. just LOLArt, you are exactly right. I have heard that he has a sore wrist, in addition to his foot/ankle. He's a player, and I think he'll be back there if it is at all possible.
He might not be a wimp , but the definition of " tough " has lost all meaning in todays athlete . And yes pain can increase with an injury , but there was no injury at ole Miss . I watched him run off the field after the last offensive play of the game .. no limp .. no nothing . And of course football players are sore on Sunday and Monday after a game .. but being sore and in some pain is far far different than being injured to the point you dont suit up . JMHO .Yes, after the Injury at Ole Miss he played and finished the game. Whatever the pain level it was not evident that he was injured. But everybody who has had a serious injury knows the pain can get worse later. I fell off a ladder and cracked a vertebrae. I walked around that day and drove to the doctor and back. The next day I could barely sit up in bed and walking was out of the question. He showed guts finishing the game and if he could have played effectively and safely Saturday, he would have played. The man is not a wimp.
