Will Levis "ill be good for next week"

They thought they could win without him tonight. Such arrogance.
Seasons over at this point this is a humiliating loss and is the reason you can’t give games away
I heard Levis on a hot mic said pain was leaving hed be fine for next week.Thats really good for this game embarrasing loss nothing downfield at all.No good 2nd string quarterback bit us in the ass like everyone said it would.Most great qbs qould have tried to play tonight was he protecting his so called draft status piss on him from noe on!!!
If he could walk, his ass should have played.

That's great and hope he does but it doesn't change the impact this loss has on the season and the tough slate of games ahead.

I mean, that’s cool and all but unless he can beat Tennessee and Georgia by himself the season is a dead end after this loss, so it’s kind of whatever.
We couldn’t score with him healthy anyway.
Why does it matter? The Coen version that allowed Levi's to actually be a football player was a lot better than this year. Now it's practice his NFL moves even if it means taking a loss.
What horseapples fella. I've seen that kid take hits that would have you crapping your pants. You have no idea what kind of injury this kid has.
The new OC has handcuffed him this year.. Trying to mold him into an NFL QB in the college game. The scouts are going to be amazed with his talent in the combine, and I just can't figure out why the new guy thinks he needs to play his combine tape with live football. Just let the kid play football and win games. He can do the rest of his show at the fieldhouse when the season is over. The new OC is overthinking the whole thing..
WanDale sure helped last year
Our receiving corp this year is a lot better than last year.
The segment before the game was very odd, did feel odd watching them making light of him not playing.
Robinson had matched up pretty good stat wise to WanDale at this point. The difference is this team and last year is that Levi's was allowed to make plays to win football games.. the new OC has treated it more like a debut for the NFL draft instead of concentrating on winning on Saturday.
Just don't think OC has a good feel for college game. The wild card is in football line play is EVERYTHING, ours stink.
Having had turf toe a few times in my playing days not sure how he could know. It had a tendency to flair up and down for me. Granted the treatment nowadays as opposed to the 60's is likely a lot more accurate.
So when did WL get this injury ? Actually in the ole Miss game ? Or at practice Monday ? I was at Ole miss , I saw no signs of an injury . Has the school actually put out any statement on Will ? With even remote specifics .. it's seems like we were guessing what the injury was up until Friday when it leaked out .

Stoops only mentioned his finger during the week. Unless I missed it, Stoops never mentioned a foot injury. Since he kept playing after the injury I thought he would be fine.

Stoops was trying to keep it a secret from USC as long as possible, I guess.
Yes, after the Injury at Ole Miss he played and finished the game. Whatever the pain level it was not evident that he was injured. But everybody who has had a serious injury knows the pain can get worse later. I fell off a ladder and cracked a vertebrae. I walked around that day and drove to the doctor and back. The next day I could barely sit up in bed and walking was out of the question. He showed guts finishing the game and if he could have played effectively and safely Saturday, he would have played. The man is not a wimp.
Art, you are exactly right. I have heard that he has a sore wrist, in addition to his foot/ankle. He's a player, and I think he'll be back there if it is at all possible.
After the win at Florida and a very favorable schedule I cannot believe I’m going to cash the under 7.5 wins at +125 & +150. This is exactly why I was scared of the hype. Insurance pays off guys.
