One of the few clips I’ve seen where my initial impression was the QB was the biggest player on the field. He won’t look down on as many in the SEC, but still, he’s a hoss at 6’ 5”, 245.

I don’t think he slid in the video. He might have to learn this talent where SEC monsters abound.

Howard started all 12 games, threw for 2600+ with 26 TDs, 10 INTS, ran for about 400 yds and 9 TDs so he accounted for 35 TDs. The backup mentioned above played in 7 games and threw for about 300 yds. Howard is an excellent college QB.

And Four Star hometown players are as rare as hensteeth in Manhattan. They’ve recruited a total of 2 HS 4 Star players. since 2019.

There has to be a lot of pressure to play the younger player.

Howard is pretty close to Levis' play style...and we had a pretty good offense with that type of QB a few years ago. So I'd take Howard.

Yeah I think most of this stuff is worked out weeks in advance. Call it "tampering" or whatever, the staff reached out to qbs a month ago they like who were likely to transfer, gaged interest. The guy negotiated with other possible destinations, and picked the best offer/fit. Then when it is all done he goes into the portal just as a formality.
