Provided we both hold serve this weekend:

Duke will be 15-3, we will be 14-3

We have better wins and worse losses. But we won head to head.

Best wins:
Kentucky over Duke
Kentucky over UL
Duke over Georgetown
Duke over Indiana
Kentucky over ASU

Losses:
UCLA, LSU, OSU
UK, Utah, Clemson

RPI: kentucky 9, Duke 14
SOS: Kentucky 15, Duke 27

Record against RPI top 50
UK - 4-0
Duke 0-2

Record against RPI top 100
UK 6-2
Duke 6-2

Just curious how they'll change after this Clemson loss.

No offense, but why do you care? It's one week and means nothing either way.

It is telling though that Duke is 0-2 vs Top 50 RPI. Losing Jefferson is really hurting them, and I think they take a half a dozen more losses if he doesn't come back before the tournament.

The more recent loss and the head-to-head SHOULD give us the nod. But H2H doesn't seem to matter as much. The RPI, The SOS, Our better wins outweigh our modest losses (None of them are bad losses). Clemson was the worse loss of either team.

If Duke loses again this weekend, they will definitely surge ahead of us in the polls. And get a first round bye in the NCAA tournament.

Did anyone hear Dakich say that Duke would win the NCAA Title if Jefferson was back?

CBS Top 25 and One dropped Duke to #20 after the Clemson loss this week and has UK at #14. If UK beats Auburn I would say we would be near the Top 10 and Duke will be about where we were at #14 or #15 if Duke wins vs. Notre Dame. If Notre Dame would pull an upset at Duke and they lose twice for this week then they would probably fall further down in the Top 25.

And yet they would probably still get a 2 seed and play the first weekend of the tournament in North Carolina like they do every year. Duke could be
21-12 and still be rewarded with a top seed.

I didn't know that UK was 4-0 vs the Top 50. That is a promising stat for when we play quality teams.
