I'm beginning to feel, why not us for a Final Four run. After UNC and perhaps Oklahoma, there just isn't much in terms of teams that really look imposing.

I truly believe 1 of about 20 teams could win the NC. Weak but balanced year.

Here are the rankings. Who will emerge. Gonna be a wild, wild March Madness.

I am curious to how we do at KU this weekend. If we play competitively for 40mins, win or lose, all I can ask for as progress. KU really never loses at home though so if anyone wants to freak out if we go there and lose by 5-10 points...don't.

We're only three games removed from crapping the bed at Auburn, but we definitely appear to have turned a corner. If we play with an identity and an edge as we have, no one will want to play us come March.

We were up 12 in that one. A couple of sequences here and there and we win that game and are in the top 10. We are a top 10 team on neutral courts right now.

This team is still following the path I thought they would follow. Yeah they've taken some lumps and looked horrible at times, but they seem to be gelling and figuring out what kind of team they are. They probably won't be a Final Four favorite, but if they keep improving it shouldn't shock anyone if we end up in the Final Four.

Truth.. We have to play well Sat. If we can walk out with a W this season will start to look pretty amazing.. It's been so hard because of our success last year but really this is more of a typical season.. We could get on a run and be a 2 seed or end up a 7 or 8.

Right.. If we have a chance to win with 3 mins left it's almost a moral victory.. 3 losses at home in 10 years! The odds aren't on our side.. And your also right that a loss won't negate the chance at an awesome season.. I don't think anyone thought we'd get to the final game after that awful loss at SC in 2014.

To be honest, "I feel" like we are going to win it every year.

Every single one us makes at least 2 brackets. One where UK wins it all, and another, where we win it all.

It's definitely up for grabs.. Maybe like a few years back when Butler got to the final game.. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Mid-Major or two in the final four.. I just hope we're there to spoil their fun!

Which teams are you thinking about and what strength do they have that we can't overcome . I'm not objecting to your post but I'm curious to whom you're referring .

I agree that the championship this season is one where a lot of teams have the chance to get hot at the right time and grab it. We seem to be turning a corner right now and the lights are coming on. There is no reason not to think that these Cat's can make a very nice run. I wrote them of too early three years years back and they clicked and made a nice run. The best part to me is the fact that no matter how bad they have looked in some games they haven't hung their heads. That alone makes them a team that could pull it off.

As 2014 showed us, anything can happen no matter what seed we end up...but it's still important for us to get as good a seed as we can (a win against Kansas would be a MAJOR step in the right direction). It's important to give ourselves as best a chance as we can.
