Why not Dajuan Wagner?

Instead of Bruiser...

Former Cal guy.

Former elite point guard.

Knows the AU terrain due to his son.

Can sell recruits on Cal's loyalty factor.

His son is the top high school player in America, and bringing in pops guarantees one year Dajuan Jr. at Kentucky.

On the other hand, maybe Cal already knows Jr. is a lock?

You can bet that Dajuan Wagner will be on some college coaching staff before long.

Why not let the hall of fame head coach build his staff as he sees fit?
Yes, I think Cal knows what he is doing as our program manager. Some people may "speculate" that Cal does not. But whose opinion should we take more seriously? A Hall of Fame coach, or a website commenter?

All this accomplishes is to foment opposition to Coach Flint when Cal hires him. Just like some people talked against Tony Barbee and Joel Justus.

Cal is my coach and has the best record last decade... he has missed in at least one title.
But I hate the HOF argument... that is such a lame comeback.
Have you ever looked at the coaches in the HOF?
Ex. John Chaney is in there for Pete’s sake.
Pretty much any coach that had a good 4 or 5 year run, makes it in.

you guys can now, bash away

I won't bash you. I will just repeat that I trust Cal's opinion about program management over that of a website commenter. You think that is a weak argument? I don't. People can judge for themselves.
