Why is Moderna not under investigation?

Moderna was one of two main companies who were awarded the government's approval for their COVID vaccine. To date, as far as I can tell from my research, that vaccine is the only drug Moderna has successfully brought to market. It is a relatively new company and certainly wasn't a competitor of the Big Pharma companies until COVID. Due to their vaccine, which was rushed to market with limited (if any) testing, the company realized BILLIONS in revenue and profits and their stock price went from just a few dollars to >$300 in a very short time.

For the first half of this year, Moderna's revenue was $400 MILLION (not billion) and their stock closed around $37/share today. They are hemorrhaging cash and their CF from Operations has been negative for several quarters now.

I believe an investigation into how this no-name company with no other drugs on the market managed to get a huge cash infusion due to COVID when Merck, Eli Lilly, Bristol Myers Squibb, et al were not is warranted. I would not be surprised if the FDA and/or NIH received tons of cash from Moderna. I would not be surprised if some Congresspeople also received kickbacks from Moderna. In my opinion, something smells to high heaven about this company and their COVID vaccine approval when they literally haven't brought one other drug to market. Oh, and their vaccine has been the one that has generally caused the most adverse reactions, also.

Shouldn't someone in our government look into this and find out if there is billions of dollars of corruption/fraud surrounding this company and the approval of its vaccine? And, if so, shouldn't several people be looking at significant jail time?

I'm not an expert but let me help you out:
  • Moderna was focused on developing mRNA vaccines
  • mRNA appeared to be the best bet in terms a vaccine for COVID
  • Moderna was granted an emergency waiver to bring their vaccine to the market for COVID
  • Moderna's vaccine seemed to be a very effective approach for stopping, I mean preventing, I mean lessening the effects of COVID-19 with no, I mean some, side effects.
  • Nobody wants COVID vaccines anymore because of what I wrote above
  • They have a few other products, but nothing to the scale of their COVID vaccine

If you've done the research, then why is the rest of your post full of speculation and calls for government investigations? Why not just hand over your research findings to the DOJ?

I work in this industry. I actually had a job offer from Moderna during Covid as they were close to finishing the primary vaccine study, to lead their statistical analysis efforts.

There are hundreds, probably a thousand, Biotechs. Most of them have <5 molecules/compounds/biologicals in their pipeline. Most are not publicly traded and rely upon investors. Many of them won’t last 10 years, because the vast majority of drugs tested won’t work or aren’t safe.
So it’s no surprise that one of these smaller companies came out with one of the 2-3 covid vaccines.

Question has been answered. Lock the thread before the shit show begins.

I took the Moderna shot and booster and it knocked me TF out. Like I was completely destroyed for a couple days after each shot. As a matter of fact I got COVID a couple months after and knew that’s what it was because it felt like an extremely mild form of the shot I got. Never got that again. Lord what an awful time that was.

Not that I want to get into it but just reviewing wiki will answer a lot of your questions. Your main points get shot down pretty quickly.

I took the Moderna shot and booster and was fine. My arm hurt just a little for a few hours but other than that, no side effects. Haven't gotten covid either, whether before the vax or after. Guess I'm doing something right.

Same here and have had both Pfizer and Moderna. And got the booster this fall when I got the flu shot. Only had COVID once and recovered in 3 days and 2 of those days I would have gone to work because I didn't feel all that bad, except I was testing positive.

But I guess I'm lucky because I almost never have any reaction to any medication.

Unless something major changes, I'm not getting any more COVID boosters. Only gotten 1 booster about 3 years ago, and none since.

Our immune systems are the best thing we have to fight against covid and offer the longest immunity because it's natural. If you're alive, it's a good bet you're going to be one of the 99% plus that moves through it like it's nothing.

I did covid injections of the virus itself for the first week, and took super beets. I felt like Tuco Salamanca after a hit of Blue Magic.

That said, boosters are as pointless as this thread. Moderna is going to skate and John Legend will keep getting royalties for his asinine commercial.

Now, if we want to talk about Mpox, then let's roll.

Covid threads are like crack, grilling, pedo teachers, celebrity death, and titties all rolled together.

I didn't want to take the original shot, but very reluctantly did so under duress from my wife, my 87-yr old MIL, and a certain extent from my employer.

The government started aggressively pushing the boosters, and my wife and my MIL got boosted. When I saw people who had gotten boosted getting COVID, I said "Fvck no" to that. I'll never forget the Psy-Op "If you get the vaccine you won't get COVID", etc etc.

Anthony Fauci and his ilk belong in prison for what they've done. F them.
