I heard she’s a material girl, who like a virgin and like a prayer, loves to express herself because her papa don’t preach.
I like her early stuff. You know, 'Lucky Star', 'Borderline' - but once she got into her 'Papa Don't Preach' phase, I don't know, I tuned out.
To be fair, she was living in a material world. 🤔
IMO her best songs were Live to Tell and Crazy For You.
She is the very definition of style over substance.

Madonna was misquoted. She didn't say "I'm going to blow up the White House." She said, "I'm going to bl&w everyone who visits my house."
I like Madonna pre 2000s. After that it just goes down hill.
